Checking in as an old-school Inner Sphere member from the classic online text-based days...

I'm looking forward to piloting a Javelin (JVN-10P), a Phoenix Hawk (PXH-3D), and Catapult (CPLT-C1)...

Greetings freeborn spheroids, I am known as Vahl from Clan Smoke Jaguar, my trothkin will be arriving shortly.

<RP mode off>
We are a very old clan that has been playing whatever mechwarrior games or mods that have been available for more than a decade now. Expect us to have a strong presence withing this new game. Our website is: http://clansmokejaguar.enjin.com/

Indeed his trothkin have arrived.

Though our clan is currently unplayable we think we will be taking a Smoke Jaguar Dragoons outlook on things, minus the changing sides. No indeed we are the clans, and we will conquer.

Barcode here. Huge fan of stompy mech things in general, which by association makes me a huge fan of Mechwarrior.

Though I've been largely absent from the MWLL community - and hence from my Smoke Jaguar comrades, whom you have already met - we shall see if this reboot will bring me back into the swing of things. I'm largely enthusiastic, though!
Hoping to flatten some gropos reeeeeal soon. :)

Part the Chicago DDC, started with classic table top bt long ago and have been piloting every mech I can in every format I can as often as I can ever since.

You will always know me as Elengil. Well except for that one time, *winks at Greywolf.*

Currently keeping Firestorm Tesla II alive and still loving it after all these years no matter how much cross country driving that means.

Alex Miuri here, Black Cats Mercenaries, loyal to House Davion!

Long time Mechwarrior and Battletech player; discovered it with the release of the MW2 demo, have been playing since then, as well as tabletop and Megamek, and read most of the books. I played the MPBT3025 beta, loved it, and have been missing it since; I'm hoping this finally fills the void!

For anyone I played 3025, MW3, or MW4 with, I was always Shadowcat, though probably far from the only one, and that name's already been taken here, so had to resort to just taking the name of the main character from my never-got-far-with-it battletech story. Ah well. If I'm feeling ambitious, maybe I'll try to actually start up his mercenary company here!

Regardless, I'm looking forward to this game so much already, and can't wait to get in the cockpit and fight beside a few of you - and turn the rest into scrap metal!

Hi everyone, I'm Sakkra, while I haven't the years of some here, I'm a diehard Mech Fanatic, I read a few novels when I was younger, and I was interested, then Mechwarrior 2 came out, and I was hooked forever since. I of course soon after played the older games.

I'm hoping this game bears similarities to Battletech 3025, I love the idea of useful light mechs. My Firestarter was a bane to mediums/heavies.(It was cancelled before I saw many Assaults :) ) Just for nostalgia, I'm hoping to see Urbanmechs for Munchie Action!

I am likely to focus on light/mediums on this. I love mobility and surprise tactics. Always be where you are least likely to be, and even the mighty Atlas will fall!

It will be good to get to know everyone!

Aleksander Storm, Callsign "Paladin"

(though more generally known as "Stormhawk" nowadays)

Wondering why the system didn't preserve my name capitalization, though. Could have sworn I capitalized it in the form.

So, I was about 14, 15 - I walk into the local game store, I'm browsing, and I see this box with a ....giant ... robot ... wading out of the mist, cannons for arms ....

Yeah, I was hooked pretty much from the get-go. Original boxed set, with the pre-legal bs artwork - I dont care if the art for the T-bolt was ripped off, it just looks lame now! Played the original MW - loved strolling up to Warhammers with my Locust and buzzsawing their legs off.

Havent played live for a while now - though I occationally get in a game of MegaMek with friends - curious what this new thing has to offer.

I played with H e l l's Elite Legions back in the day. We won a few matches, made a few friends and a few enemies. MW4 still rates as one of the very best online gaming experiences I've had, really looking forward to getting back in the cockpit.

Hoping this game will be good!

I first got introduced to Battletech when I got Mechwarrior 2 for free with a graphic card. I loved the story, the game really makes you feel like you are part of a clan. Since then I played MW3, MW4, and an aborded Battletech MMO that only went into beta. I invested the heaviest in MW4 with all of its expansions, took part in a clan that took itself very seriously as "Clan Wolf in exile", and that's when I fell in love with the lore. Even read some novels.

Never played the tabletop game, or the RPG, tho I wish I did. A Battletech MMO had been a dream of mine, make it good!

Hey guys, Some of you may already know me by this name, ahem the remaining Netmech Players. Any former Battlezone League Players will know me as Strafingmir from Clan Ghost Bear.

Those of you from Mektek will know me as Simulere.

I've been playing Mechwarrior since Mechwarrior 2. My favorite one being Ghost Bear's Legacy which i still play through at least once a year. I kind of backed off playing MW4 for awhile, hill humping got boring, plus my Steel Battalion Controller wont work with WIndows 7, and i'm too lazy to partition space just for Mechwarrior.

Oh anyone that plays MCM Combat Operations in Secondlife would know me as well.

Hi all - can't wait to see this game! Started playing MW tabletop back in the 80's and MW1 was the reason I went from C64 to PC (thank you, Dynamix!). Think MW2: Mercs was about my fav in the line.

Callsign is RudiKazootie.

Hello everyone!

Been playing Classic Battletech since 1987.
Played all the Mechwarrior Games
Played the Mechcommanders
Played VWE Battletech since 1994
Beta Tested Battletech 2025

I am also a believer that Mechwarrior the RPG totally sucked, especially when they could have easily used the same system that Shadow Run used (Best RPG ever btw!) since they were both owned by FASA.

I am Steel Viper to the core. My Shadow Corps Merc unit primarily works for Comstar and House Marik, with strong sympathies for the House Kurita as many member pilots are originally from the Draconis Combine.

Currently Beta Testing SWTOR, playing Fantasy Football.
