Vlad gets it.

Negotiating from a position of weakness is pointless.

Davion asked Kurita for a ceasefire when Kurita was stomping the crap out of Davion. When you are losing a fight of course you want it to stop. Kurita is still more than capable of taking Davion worlds on a daily basis but we want to stop. Davion currently will not allow us to do so.

House Kurita is stronger now than it has ever been, we have built up significant strength and are capable of pushing back the clan front if we aren't distracted with keeping Davion in check.

Ebb and flow. There is absolutely nothing for Davion to gain in making peace now. Kurita is doi g great now. It'll pass, populations change. When the border moves back north I hope Davion reconsiders and we'll see what Kurita saws then. Right now you're where we were end of month one. History repeats and all.

As to Marik i really don't know. The threat of "attack us and we'll destroy everything" just makes me want to fire it up and clear my lance card. Most of us seem like we'd prefer a clan border, even losing, just to see Kurita burn.

Clan Davion FedRats and House Purple Pigeon are Brutus and Cassius to Kurita's Divine and Noble Caesars

You Cowardly Stab at us in a poor attempt to Save the Sphere, but you only speed up downfall. Ha Ha Ha.

Do not worry, Kurita is more Augustus than Julius. We will be the victorious.

The difference is Davion never asked for peace when they were winning. Kurita is capable of taking more Davion worlds if we wish to.

Personally, I think an all out war with Marik would be super fun. But I'm not the one calling the shots.

We tried to but there wasn't an HC Council. I agree it's not fair to try and blame Kurita for that; the people we talked to hadn't talked to anyone else. Not the first time we've had that problem with another faction actually. If anyone was still poking at Kurita it was not official and if I'd seen it I'd have popped into the match, collected unit tags and passed them on, same as I do when I see people dropping off objective now.

Keep coming at Davion. Miss you guys; I've been busy and unable to play lately but I really enjoy dropping against NS. While a few are still fresh we've got recruits and returns to field 22AL 12mans again and some solid people together to make cross-unit 12mans. See if we can't catch up to you guys this weekend. I don't see Davion having a stomach for peace with Kurita until things get pushed back up north. Yes yes, 'that'll never happen'. We said the same thing about losing to Kurita and Liao 3 months ago. 1 or 2 good 12mans can't make a house work alone.

As to Marik, you go all in. They will. Not going to change the Davion front in any way. Nothing is changing the Davion front but Davion. Especially if Seraphim and BWC goes home to roost. Got nothing but respect for NS but BWC especially I think will roll you guys consistently for a bit until you adjust to their tactics. No disrespect to the rest of Marik but BWC does a few things stupidly well, as in gold standard well.

Good luck with that. We'll, uh, still be over here.

In the end, shitposting aside, isn't that what it's all about?

Well, that and Ethics in Mechwarrior :P

Oh don't worry - we also had a lot to learn in CW, but recently we had a solid 80% win/loss which I think is acceptable. But of Course BWC got their Stuff sorted out long ago already. We are still experimenting :)

Respect to the BWC btw.

If Marik has to go in (not that I really want that to happen as I think the Clans should be our Priority) we can still bring the Numbers.

The Seraphim are simply more picky with their Targets ;)

And right now we are much more numerous in Marik than we have been against you Davies.

I'd love to set up a scrimmage with BWC outside of CW sometimes to see how we both match up. If anyone from BWC sees this, feel free to shoot me a personal message and maybe we can set something up!

Or, you could just attack us and open up that whole thing.

We're not going to cry about it, this whole dancing around trying to save face to make the other guy look like the bad guy is getting boring.

We need to **** and get it over with.

Yeah the gears of war are already turning. They can only be sated by blood at this point. No need for private skirmishes. The world's in CW will be our battle ground. Only another Wasan between us might restore trust. It is unavoidable. I'm not even sure who you are trying to impress with this moral high ground act. Marik and Davion have already made up their minds. Liao appears r s to be wanting to get in on the action. The clans don't care about is politics and Steiner can't stop drooling over itself long enough to know what's going on around it. So who i s the act for?

Maybe, for peace, we need to get this scuffle done and over with.

How about, a leader of each faction make a post agreeing to just duking it out on the new Wormhole. Reduce the tension with some good old fights. Get this out of the system, and then when everything is said and done, just close the wormhole down and call it a good tussle! (Presuming it's still there.)

This way, no one loses face. No one loses honor. Those that want to fight can. We can get this all out of each of our systems and start being rational faster. B)

Curious as to how Marik thinks it has a chance without BWC, SPRH or even -MS- on their side against Kurita. Is MGA that big of a powerhouse to take on NS, NKVA and PHL? Or are there some other Marik units that have yet to make their name known on the map?

Your mistake is in thinking that everything is about units.

Marik has probably one of the largest populations that aren't part of any unit, all on the same TS sserver. In our TS there are also abut a dozen loyalist units of varying size that dont all fly under the same unit tag when they're grouped. We call it tier 2 pugging

MGA has numbers if nothing else. 150 some odd members. Serephim is supposed to be coming back. Not sure what bwc is doing. The fwlm has a lot of smaller units with really good pilots. They Tend to drop mixed with MGA and other smaller units. MGA just has numbers enough to end up with the tags.

Ah see I was going based off what I had seen dropping on defense against Clans. Do not see many Marik units/pugs around so assumed it was because BWC and SPRH were in FRR atm.

Funny, I thought Marik's whole shtick was Clan Defense.

I know we've been up there a time or two. It seems like we are always defending frr. We never see any falcon there but your main border is with Steiner. It would be fun to mix it up a bit and fight.jade falcon.
