Do you? I was responding to the idea that PGI should be scared that if someone wanted to buy you out you'd do it. Why should that scare them?

why cant it be like starcraft 2 where it matches you up with players/teams in your own skill level?

We have that - it's called the Group queue.

Community Warfare is hard core mode. If you can't handle being matched up against whoever happens to be available, whether good or bad, then you shouldn't play CW.

No. PGI has done a great job. MWO is well on the way to being the best PvP MMO. They just need to restore some weapons to normal function and ignore the crybabies who cry meta this and that. All I see is that MWO needs more diversity in game modes and Mech load-outs that actually work like they should. Players figure out in a few hours when they ruin something for the sake of a desired balance. MechWarrior has to be Battle Tech not Laser-Brawl 2015.

Well, I've only spent $15 on this game and I want to like it more than I do (assuming PGI fixes numerous issues) so I can have more fun playing it and recommend it to friends, so if a refund meant not being able to play MWO at all ever again then I would say no; if I had spent a lot more money though then I would probably say yes.

As a right now if pgi offered me a total refund of every penny I spent on this game but could never play it again I would do it in a heart beat. Tired of all the quirking only to see mechs I spent MC, CB, and time to get totally gutted again. To give mechs quirks that made them fun to play again then 3 months later just gut them is stupid. I have a feeling pgi is hurting for cash so they need to sell more clans mechs that are coming out. Also seems Russ listen to all the clan twitter whiners on twitter to much.

Absolutely yes.

Because it means that their grip on an admitted whale is tenuous at best.

I'm one of the people who pays, and pays quite a bit apparently, to play this game. I'm one of the people they need to retain. So if it would really be that easy to get me to quit, they should be worried.

I grant that $750 can't really be filed under "easy", but the point is the same. And honestly my answer would be the same if I'd only spent $100 so far. Sure, absolutely, pay me $100 and I'd never touch MWO again. There are PLENTY of other options out there.

Luckily for them no one is offering me $100 to quit, so inertia keeps me playing for now.

I raged and tried to get a refund but it was really deep down fueled by my passion for value (I didn't realise the camo skins were only for the variant set), I am actually glad that I didn't get what I rudely demanded, and was very impressed with the way I was professionally communicated to post rage.

This is an awesome game and I have so much fun playing with the different mentalities of groups I know. I am as deep as all packs except the one I missed when I took a break, I think it was Phoenix? And taking into account the insane Aussie exchange rate I think I have pushed over $600.

If I could buy the one I missed I would, even if I only ended up playing for another few months as I would have just spent the money on another game(s) anyways.

It would be easy for me slash the tires on my own car, so what? Just because a task is easy to do does not mean it is going to get done. PGI should be afraid that if the Bribe People to Not Play Video Games Fairy decides to pay you visit you'll leave the game? Yeah, I'm sure that's got them losing sleep.

Yeah, you just don't get it. You're focusing on the admittedly fictitious mechanic and not the very real underlying problem.

The game isn't very sticky. If you don't know what that means, I'm not going to bother explaining it to you.

Game's "sticky" enough for me, and I've dropped over $500 on it. And, yes, I "get it", I just think your "it" is stupid.

Could he sell his account? Sure he won't get 1:1, but maybe he could make a few dollars back instead of a complete loss. PGI should allow people to do that.

Not my "it" it's the OP's.

No, it's your it. You're the one that said PGI should be afraid because you don't feel committed enough to the game to turn down an attempt to bribe you to not play it. That's your "it". That's what I was talking about.

I'm Escef. Who is this "escaf" guy you were talking about? (Hint: I'm making fun of you because you can't even spell a name that's right in front of you on the screen. That takes a special brand of incompetence.)

You don't think that PGI should be worried that their whales would leave the game for a relatively trivial reason?

I get what you're saying - it's not something that's ever going to happen so why should they be worried about it. But you don't think that it speaks to an underlying problem?
