Loving these events and the mechs. It's nice getting a fully upgraded chassis sitting in my roster. With the extended time maybe I'll go for the statue too.

Took me only 96 matches to get my Raven.

Was that because you were good...or because of the Friday Night bug that saw many players drop against totally (or largely) disconnected opposing teams?

I suspect the latter...easy to get 8 kills against 11 DCs

Man don't be rude :)

I played only during saturday and sunday.
And you can see, there was no one disconnected . . . look at the DMG for example.

So thanks, I was good and LUCKY . . . I think.

( BTW for me it was 76 matches for 35 points - Raven statue )

Took me 66 matches to get my 295XL engine. 36 wins for 25 points.
Longest winning streak 8 times, after that MM cursed me 8 times.
Ive seen excellent teamplay and also faced dark souls in MM hell.

Will I go for additional swag? No way, I have seen the dark side, thanks.

Only ? and I was bored after I finally got it in 60 more or less :)

Anyway, Match Maker > anything else in solo que, there's just no way to deal with it.
I've had non valid matches with 6 kills and valid with 200 damage 1 kill and a few assists.

i'm on a roll- last two events i stopped early on because i figured i wouldn;t have time to get to the reward level i wanted due to lack of time, get extended an extra 24 hours. so if i had played my usual amount over the weekend i might have been able to reach that goal with an extra day.

i blame it on an anti-urbie lover conspiracy. that must be the case...

Just got all 50 points and I wasn't even trying didn't really want the camo, I tried for 35.

But pretty glad I managed it, Did it in 111 games overall 60 wins .

Didn't even need the extension

But pgi stop it with the kill and win condition I still maintain that.

You don't help yourself with your base setting conditions like win which is in the hands of 12 people not one, Yes teamwork , IF the other 11 guys listen if they don't your done.

STOP IT PGI.

Well I pasted the data in a sheet. Done the calculations of win lose, mech type used.

For the 3 points I needed 4 matches
25 points I needed an extra 48 matches
35 points extra 35 matches (not a joke..)
50 point an other 28 matches.
So to get everything in this event I've played a total of 120 matches.
(numbers at end of mech used is, qualified match, win without qualified and percentage of qualified match with that mech)
14 matches in a AWS-8R (3 x aLRM15, 2 LL, BAP, TAG) 5-6-36%
4 matches in a CDA-3C (1 x ERPPC, 4 x MG, AMS) 2-0-50%
5 matches in a CN9-D (1 x LB10-X, 1 x LPL, AMS) 1-2-20%
2 matches in a CTF-4X (4 x AC5) 0-0-0%
3 matches in a DRG-1N (2 x AC5, 1 x ERLL, AMS) 2-0-66%
5 matches in a ENF-4R (1 x AC10, 1 x LL, 1 x ML, AMS) 2-3-40%
6 matches in a ENF-5D (1 x LB10-X, 3 x MPL, AMS) 3-4-50%
16 matches in a ENF-5P (3 x AC2, 1 x ML, AMS) 4-9-25%
7 matches in a HBK-4J (2 x aLRM10, 2 x SL, TAG, BAP) 2-3-29%
5 matches in a JR7-F (6 x SPL) 1-3-20%
14 matches in a KGC-0000 (2 x AC20, 2 x PPC, AMS) 7-7-50%
7 matches in a KGC-000B (2 x LB10-X, 3 x aSRM6, 1 x LL, AMS) 5-0-71%
4 matches in a KGC-000L (4 x U-AC5, 2 x ML, AMS) 3-0-75%
3 matches in a ON1-M (1 x LB10-X, 2 x aSRM4, 3 x ML, AMS) 1-0-33%
3 matches in a ON1-VA (4 x LRM10, 1 x LL, TAG, BAP, AMS) 2-1-66%
4 matches in a PNT-10KR (1 x ERPPC, 1 x aSRM4, AMS) 2-1-50%
4 matches in a PNT-8Z (1 x LL, 2 x ML, 1 x SRM4) 2-1-50%
7 matches in a PNT-9R (1 x PPC, 1 x ML, 1 x aSRM4) 2-2-29%
1 matches in a STK-3F (4 x LL, 4 x SSRM2, BAP, AMS) 0-1-0%
2 matches in a STK-5S (2 x aLRM15, 5 x ML, 2 x SSRM2, TAG, BAP, 2 x AMS) 2-0-100%
4 matches in a TDR-5SS (7 x MPL, AMS) 2-1-50%

So if I calculated it correctly that's a 43% qualification in 120 matches.
21 different mech used so I was using:
Lights - 29%
Mediums - 29%
Heavy - 23%
Assault - 19%

Took me 3 days......a total of about 24-26 hours 'wasted' (enjoyed myself most of the time so meh..). ;)

I got up to 11 points. After a day and a half of not really being able to play because of EXTREME rubberbanding/teleporting/teleporting OPFOR mechs....I gave up and played something else.

Feels like the servers weren't up to the task of handling as many players as participated. Not fun.

I barely eeked out the 25 needed for the bird. I'll take it :) I like stairstep events like this. I didn't have a chance of making the 50 but a weekend of prem time and a free mech was a nice reward for a filthy casual like me.

Solo queue definitely takes more time. Getting a kill each match was easy. Having my team win was not.

37 of 84 matches qualified so far. Not too great, but considering I did it while mastering my panthers I'm happy. Don't care too much for the Virus pattern, but I guess since the 24hr extension I will go ahead and grind it out when I get home from work.

Stats from Sat-Sun

Matches 84

Qualified 37

Kills 111

Assists 377

Edit: Corrected total match count.

Hi Zergling,

how did you assemble these Stats? I did not see a Match-Listing like it was displayed in the Christmas-Stockings-Event ... is there a (hidden?) profile-page which lets me see a listing of my last x matches?

TIA

Scroll to the bottom of this link and you will find all the matches you have played since the start of this event. Along with your kill, assists, win/loss, and qualification. However, I don't know of an easy way to assemble the stats other than counting them out by hand.

I didn't play at all Friday, family stuff.

Saturday I probably played 47 games and only qualified for 19. I had a 17 game losing streak due to the matchmaker being a total joke. That shouldn't EVER happen. I even had many 3-6 kill, 1000 or more damage games that resulted in a loss because the matchmaker is horrible.

Sunday, I started off continuing that losing streak, then finally broke it with a 5 kill, 1100 damage game that I nearly won on my own. Me and 2 other players carried the entire team, with the last enemy mech, a nearly untouched firestarter, sitting on the other side of the map, attempting to pounce on us when we went looking for him. He tried to core my back out, but found that I wasn't the easy prey he hoped for, so he went after my Cicada buddy who tagged along with me. The Cicada didn't make it, but I blasted that firestarter's legs off and smeared him across Tourmaline. Take that crutch mech!

After that I had around 60% wins, with about as many qualifying. The matchmaker decided it no longer had a serious grievance with me and started handing me REAL matches. Then I joined a few friends in the group queue, and had 75-80% wins and all qualifiers. It took me nearly 49 the first day to get just 19 points. Then the next day, it took me 43 to get 22, and that's with matches that I won, but lost my kills to steal. That happened a lot this weekend, probably 1/6 matches, I either didn't get a kill but got high damage, or barely made a kill at the end.

That's a difference of 52%% qualifying matches vs the previous 37%. I've never had worse than a 8 or 10 game losing streak, so that 17 game, hopeless losing streak really pissed me off.

That leaves me with 41 qualifiers. Even though I don't care for the Virus camo, I'll probably pick up that final 9 points tonight just so I don't have that red X in my challenges.
