and on day 2 of CW Liao recognized that and approached Marik about a ceasefire. They did so reasonably and without **** posting. Its a relationship that has held up ever since.
Kurita could still be friends today if they would have spoken with Marik in a civil way. We were already willing to cede back the MS worlds but they decided to just take them all before we were ready to call it quits on the experiment. IS this a nSL issue? Nope. The Wormhole predates the nSL. This was an accord between Kurita and Marik and Kurita broke that accord without even discussing it with us. Now they run around wondering why Marik is out for blood.
I'm not really interested in hearing Kurita whine about how we are diverting them from the clans either. For one they don't have to come down here and defend. Whether they are red or purple planets Kurita can defend them against the clans. As for me personally, I don't care what the clans do anymore. Ever since PGI flip flopped on their stance on not doing a map reset the clans can go to hell.

With Marik? What I see from these forums leaves me with the conclusion that to Marik, you can only be an enemy or a patsy. Either way, something you can grab some worlds from.
House Marik has taken more worlds from other IS powers than any single Clan has.

But now you're out for blood because you weren't asked nicely enough, right. That sounds neither immature nor like a cheap excuse.

"Anymore"? Now that's a laugh.

For some of you still chomping at the bit, both PWNface and myself are actively organizing Scims on Monday Nights ... maybe we could sync drop a CW match? .... we face DERP tonight in private match scrims. We would genuinely love to hear from more groups. EVen from some of the BOS *******. I'd be interested to see if they could consistently beat us.

The Wormhole project was a complete mess in its closing. There was miscommunication on both sides as to what was going on or going to happen. Things happened to quickly and decisions made in haste.
I, for starters have heard that it was -MS- that had attacked/expanded the wormhole under the guise of a Marik unit. I have also heard that it was a Marik house unit that did this. The planets that I saw at the time showed -MS- tags on them, but that doesn't mean that house units didn't get confused when they saw the the planet light up with attacks and jumped in without orders.
This has lead to the accusation of a sneak attack on the dracs from the wormhole by Marik...
Then the Dracs where going to lean out the wormhole by taking all the worlds labeled -MS- (once again they are mentioned) and then leave it be. Marik was trying to help by dropping units there to throw the match and get those planets back to the Draconis Combine as quick as possible (so you wouldn't have to wait for turret drops). The wormhole was going to be left open in the intent to stick to the original plan of connecting the wormhole to Marik so the algorithm would take it north towards the Drac's capitol and smack into Clan Smoke Jaguar. After it hits the clans, and a few buffer worlds were taken, then the Draconis Combine would have those worlds back to them with no fuss while Marik fought a clan. This may have also caused confusion and had some Marik units actually drop to defend those planets.
This then lead to the Draconis Combine thinking we were defending against them.
Then the Draconis Combine decided to close the wormhole entirely and didn't tell Marik, who only gave a token resistance at first then tried to really defend only when they were down to the last few worlds in a disorganized mess, due to lack of orders from HQ, who where getting a lack of communication from Draconis Combine HQ.
This has now led to the Draconis Combine thinking that Marik is weak and that they can handle them (and I guess the other three fronts they have otherwise they would lose the war...). Which has also led to the bitter feelings that Marik has towards the Draconis Combine, for many of them see that closing of the wormhole as a sneak attack do to, once again, lack of communication from the Draconis Combine. (note: this is a lack of communication in general, not just the Draconis Combine)
In closing, it just seems that people need to act slower in retaliation and communicate more before acting. It would also help if people from both sides would stop "trolling" the other, and then dragging insults from a few members of a faction in the forums into the game (thus punishing the whole faction for less then 5 people's posting in the forums).
(The truth no one seems to see, is that it was -MS- that stirred this pot up and set it a boil. The same -MS- that is Ghost Bear primary. The same -MS- that is trying to distract more resources from the Draconis Combine towards Marik and Davion, so that they can expand Ghost Bear quicker.)

'Disorganized command structure' not really excuse for losing matches over and over and over again.

Were Marik to attack/defend, or are they helping close the wormhole? Two different actions. You also seem to forget that Marik and the Draconis Combine were suppose to be allies until -MS- started to mess things up. At that point and time, Marik didn't know if they were allies or enemies. Does Marik attack and defend against their allies? Is Marik/Draconis Combine closing the worm hole and helping them do so and throw the match? You also seem to forget, that during this whole mess, all of Marik mercs were either in the Draconis Combine, attacking clan Smoke Jaguar on your behalf, or in the FRR attacking clan Ghost Bear...
'Poor Command Structure' also goes both ways. As stated, there was a lack of communication from BOTH sides. The Draconis Combine didn't communicate it's intentions to Marik, when they decided to close the wormhole. They only made mention of trimming it down and getting rid of -MS- tags, unto which Marik decided to help in that regard by dropping and trying to let you win the match quickly. This lack of communication has led us here. Is Marik and the Draconis Combine still allies? Are they enemies? Are they Neutral?

Are you the same Kurito that pointed out that Marik has taken more worlds than anyone?
Taking worlds from Steiner (does not defend southern border) and Davion (busy giving away worlds in desperate bid to get more attacks on Kurita) not really reason for brag.

I'd be super proud if people just gave me planets for free too
