Stuck in a garage waiting for car repairs, so memegenerator and the forums are keeping me occupied.

I'm and ex-clanner stop calling House Davion "Clan Davion" I find it rather insulting to my past...

PS: Davion's ok in my books for the most part.

I thought it was weird, too, but reading the Kurita books, that's what they refer to Davions as.

Here's another Kurita / Davion exchange, though the use of 'Clan' isn't present.

From the Liao handbook. Page 34.
ULTIMATUM AND DEFIANCE

Quote

To the Officer Commanding the Federated Suns Forces on Kasai
Sir:
As you will observe, I have positioned my forces in such a manner that you are now completely surrounded. To avoid unnecessary loss of life, I respectfully suggest an immediate surrender. I will accord you two hours from receipt of this communication in which to reply.
V.G. Ishilkoff, General of the Army,
Knight of the Dragon

To General V.G. Ishilkoff,
Commander, Draconis Combine Forces on Kasai
General:
I have received your recent communication concerning an immediate surrender. I am terribly sorry, but we don’t have enough food to take you all prisoner. Perhaps next time.
Respectfully,
K. Mandon, Acting-Commander,
1st Syrtis Fusiliers

To Commander K. Mandon,
1st Syrtis Fusiliers
Sir:
I request the immediate surrender of your troops, not mine.
V.G. Ishilkoff, Commanding,
Draconis 7th Sword of Light

To General V.G. Ishilkoff,
Commander, Draconis 7th Sword of Light
General:
Thank you very much for your kind offer. I’m afraid, however, I find my position perfectly maintainable. So sorry to disappoint you. Should the general desire to have this rock, he can come and get it.
Respectfully,
K. Mandon

RJ, never for a moment assume we aren't greatfull to you for defending Luthien by 'assisting' CSJ in the attack. You and others like you were almost certainly instrumental to our success in holding the planet.

We Salute You, RJBass o7

Thank you for the salute, but you salute the wrong guy. I commend your fantastic defense of your capital, but know I didn't drop in defense of your capitol, but rather registered my alt account as a Jag and dropped against you guys. As I have said before, I only did two drops just to see what it was like to work the Kurita border from the clan perspective. One match we won, the other NS stomped all over us as if we were just another IS pug group. I came away from that thinking the fight from the Davion side of the border is much more fun, and no matter who they fight, NS aint somebody to mess with.

But we still do. See ya on the border.

Since it seems this thread won't end without an official answer, House Davion Command's (as well as all of it's citizens') "official" response to OP's "official peace offering" is as follows:

Posted Image

We hope this satisfactorily fulfills your diplomatic mission now that you have an official answer.. This concludes this "official" dialogue between House Kurita and House Davion.. We thank you all for visiting Davion space. You may all now return to your planets of origin and/or your own forums for a change and this official thread can be closed... Have a nice day !!

End Transmission.

This is a diplomatic mission from the Chief Bard of NKVA, not House Kurita.

I cannot speak for the Chief Bard as I am a Man of Military Doctrine, but I do not see a General as being a representative of Public Relations for the Clan Davion.

NKVA awaits the response of a Non-Military Representative of the Never-feared Clan.

Dear Coordinator is a *scrub*.

He pilots a modified Dragon with a 360 XL, an ERPPC, a CT mounted LRM10 with 2 tons of ammo in the LT with *CASE*... that's right, ammo in a side torso with an XL and a CASE so that he still blows up regardless of the CASE or not, and 3 MLs.

Two REAR FACING MLs and one lone ML in the left arm.

A scrub with rear facing MLs so in proper Kurita fashion he can shoot while running away.

Victor Steiner-Davion runs a Victor with AC20, MLs and SRM plus JJs.

That's right, Dracs. Dear Coordinator runs a scrub mech with CT mounted LRM 10, ammo in a side toros cased in with the XL engine and rear facing lasers.

He needs the rear mounted lasers to shoot his wings when they run away.

Powerful posting technique: Post OP, do not read thread for a week. Like LRM boat Davion clanner swears by, but effective instead of useless. Fire and forget.

I like that load out actually. CASE for safety as he is the dear coordinator (prevents possible messy death on engine destruction). Rear facing lasers to keep his troops in formation. LRMs and a ERPPC to unleash hell at a distance because he is a leader not a front line combatant. A fast engine so he can get to safety and shoot while he strategically repositions.
