But now what is going to happen and has happened before, will be people complaining Friday about this:

People who go into the match, spray every enemy, get one kill and then die. Quit match, start a new one. Rinse and repeat. Much faster to get the rewards, and makes for even worse game play than when the win is required.

Exactly. People are going to play greedy for kills. I prefer a lesser number and with the win requirement. When you lose, there is a lot less chance of getting a kill anyways but this doesn't reward anything but greed for kills.

Also, I did oddly well in Adders - but I don't need an extra. It still sells though ...

I really don't see how people are mad. You're not forced to do the challenge. Even if you play for a bit, you get free premium time in all of them.

There are two things that developers hate:
Sense, and fun.
Every time people figure out something fun, devs remove it or nerf it.

I don't even have 50 matches in me for the weekend, but 80? Lol no.

Good chance Adder quirks are coming soon though. Gotta get everyone to sell one before they give some decent quirks to it and everyone gets mad that the adders they just sold are now "useful" and they no longer have them. Should be interesting to see what kind of quirks they get since they're not as bad as people like to believe... But still in need of help. Maybe next challenge will be a Nova or Summoner.

If you preordered Wave 1 @ the Adder level and above... you already have everything (maybe except for the color). The only reason you'd want the Adder-Prime is that it isn't the Invasion variant (that means, you can put any camo on it).

I can only say that the stock camo on the Clan Mechs are awful.

My time is pretty valuable, being a definitely finite resource. If I, or many others, were going to play that much over the weekend anyway, it wouldn't be a big deal. We would already be making that investment, so it would be free. As it stands, they have asked for a much higher time investment than many people can realistically afford. What I'm saying is, playing beyond your normal amount of time just to get the bonuses means you must pay the time to get them, and decide if that's worth your time or not. A lot of people seem to think it's not worth their time, which is entirely understandable given the amount asked.

You know... PGI could have done the guys who preordered the Wave 1 Clan Mechs a favor and given them the MC equivalent of the stuff they already got in the camo. Of course... this assumes they get the camo reward tier.

They probably should do the same for the color... had you already purchased it and given you back its MC value of it (less MC would be returned if it was acquired on a sale).

These things are Lostech though.

That's totally ok. Nobody has to play for the challenge. You're not missing anything, the game for you goes on as normal. And everybody who wants to invest the time, can get something extra out of it. That's it. There will be more casual events that require less investment for you later.
