Pushing back the early bird special on the Wave III pack is pretty crappy. Some of us took some large Pulse Laser and Machine Gun fire from the wife over this... What exactly do you plan to do for those that actually blindly showed support even though we couldn't see what two of the mechs even looked like, and had only a few days to do so???

Make your minds up and stick to your guns... You look pretty silly when you fold and change your mind... Just sayin...

It would seem that few people were interested in sight unseen purchases of what has a pretty good chance of being the next hover jets ™, and with hitboxes and scaling now being a public concern, well...

Also, 8 days to buy. lol what.

PGI needs to stop trying to be RSI and accept that they're not even in the same ballpark.

Guessing sales didn't go as swimmingly as hoped. Kind of like the Urbanmech packs. I have noticed a slight change in atmosphere in the community since the Holidays, am thinking PGI needs to rebuild some of the momentum they had going before the break, to get the goodwill going. It could also have to do with a lot of people still paying off their Xmas bills, too, of course. IMO; Wave 3 came too soon. It's why I think Packs should be in addition to "Mech of the Month", to give playable content to people in between big purchases, or for those who are burned out on all or nothing packs.

Overall, Packs are better values, but one does not always have the available funds, and the preorder window on Wave 3 way ludicrously short to begin with.

No there is a small chance I will order a pack. Because I might be able to free up the money by mid month. (Maybe.)

I bought Wave 3 but even with it being probably the best mechs of any pack to date I was less convinced of that purchase than any of my others previously because I'm just tired of feeling like this game is less and less a free to play game. Give me some actually free content to play with without having to wait while everyone else gets to mess around with it for months.

Well that is great, I'm happy "others" have a chance now. However, there was a deadline... Period... Being "OK" with it is why companies and people nowdays get away with the crap that do.

Make no mistake, I am one of those that people refer to as a "whale" in game and if this is they way it's going to be this whale will find warmer water...

Vassago, you are correct. Perhaps I should not have expected more after the PGI/IGP split... I've been here since the start as well...

Well, they forced my hand early... unfortunately.

Sometimes, you either are lucky or you're not.

Complaining about the preorder window is not where I'd focus my energy on at this point in time.

PGI has pushed out more Mech Paks ™ in the past 6 months, than the game had in 2 years under IGP/PGI.

The 'split' did absolutely nothing on the business side of things, for pretty obvious reasons.

also since clan equipment is lighter I think it evens out.

8 tons of JJs that don't JJ is still pretty crappy. You run Highlanders? Serious lack of fun factor, especially when you add in the Huge movement profile that will get you stuck like the Gargoyle... and the 8 tons of JJs which are too weak to really help unstick you.
