Then again, I'm the kind of assault mech who actually gets into the fight, tanks, and puts out 500-800 dmg per match in being up front and dueling it out.
Not sure what these other guys are doing letting other mechs infront of them...

guys when you are in your firestarters locusts spiders and jenners get BEHIND those assaults. This way you can core them easily and score many kills.

Ha, seen it plenty of times.
"Yes Yes! What a hit! Sorry, sorry"
Like they have to aplogise for one arm. Ha!

Well you know there are mechs that are way faster than Direwolfs, Atlais or King Crabs so it's kinda impossible to be spearhead always... And some assault mechs are not designed to be that spearhead.
Also sometimes silly people in their greed just want to walk into endless stream of Direwolf dakka or something similarly stupid.

Yeah it's crazy dude, I guess having each arm on a separate weapon group is too much to ask lol.

There are different situations:
A mech clearly has a target, a line of fire and is firing at it at the moment.
Then walking in is the passerby's fault.
A mech has no apparent target, is moreless just standing/walking around and some other mech wants or even needs to pass it by. If the passed mech then opens fire because he has just now spotted a target, it's the firing mech's fault.
Sometimes I even run into a firing line, take damage and think "Okay I know that was my fault, but I NEED to get there, NOW"

A 50t mech shooting a clear target is clearly better than a mech with 50t of weapons and therefore has the right of way. Obviously.

When a light flies mid burn into a Full Wub of 58...well, just like the 6 MG spider...it has a catastrophic effect on their rear torso...
Thankfully, very few people have such poor timing to choose to enter during that half second period.

Sure, how about assaults quit hogging fire lanes and or pushing friendlies out of cover so they can take that spot. Door swings both ways, don't be "that guy"

Heel chockin is what they do to assault that chicken out and try walk backwards
Assault class shouldn't even have a reverse gear.

Truth. This was me in the ENF-5D all last night. Horrible night, averaged 250 damage per game, never won one. In most games I had more damage than the assaults on my team. That's pathetic.
