The same story, 5 drops in groups larger than 4, but all we got was 5 time "group of 4" achievement

Well UI is REALLY not PGI's strength.

Ok, public matches are working if launched through LFG.

BUT ! LFG has several brutal troubles.
1) One can't change group status ( public/CW free-join/invite-only ) once it has been created.
2) Anybody can cancel match searching and it will stop for all group members.
3) No possibility to prevent more ppl joining while group is already searching for the match.
4) No possibility to limit the group size.

and maybe much more others i didn't mention.

Yeah, something may be a bit wonky. Dropped in a seven; counted as a four. Now, I was the 4th person to join the group, however.

None of the games I've played have been 4 man groups, but every single game has counted as a 4 man... Fubar.

All matches count as the correct group size for me. Done with event now.

One hint, because most party leaders don't recognize it, turn off LFG, when you got the correct group size. If not, people will join while you queue and interrupt the queue process. This is the only way to force certain player numbers.

I just need a 6 and a 10 to complete the challenge.

Of course, we sit there with a 10, and there's always just one guy who wont ready up. So you wait and wait, and then people start dropping, and ...

Maybe I'll have more luck tomorrow.

Can confirm the event worked for me. Finished my last drop a few minutes ago, just waiting for the results to come in. Marduk's suggestion about leaving lfg once group size is achieved is how we managed it, too; it stops other members bleeding in once you've hit the drop button and messing up your numbers.

Event really left me wanting some sort of text advertising feature in the lfg, though. Would have made getting specific group sizes easier, and will help in future with finding weight classes, too.

Arghh... This is a bit frustrating for open groups. You launch with the number you need and then more people joins while the game is searching.

a few questions.

Is there any way in "LFG" chat to choose the group size your joining? it seems a bit hit or miss trying to lock down a group size with everyone ready without new people dropping in

Is there any way once a match has started to tell what size group your in?

Just finished, waiting for the rewards to update to make sure. Only took two hours for quite a few camo jobs. Thanks for LFG.

The trick is this: start a group yourself, invite only and build upward. Tell everyone what you're doing and they'll stick around. Open groups are chaos at best.

You can also click the big red LEAVE LFG button to exit the chaos once you have a medium size group, then re-enter as an invite only to cut down on the noise.

would it count if i started a group used lfg and then got my desired number left lfg and started a match?
