http://mwomercs.com/...yyid-statistics

We've collected a big chunk of the Battle of Tukayyid Stats! Take a look at them below!
We got a lot of requests from Twitter but this is what we have so far.
I look forward to seeing what you statisticians can surmise from this data.
We may dig deeper at Tina's discretion. : )

Edit (Catalina Steiner): we have also a thread here.
Battle of Tukayyid - Statistics/

(also deleted the whole copied and pasted statistics)

One third of the participants quit after getting 5 points or less. They must've been really frustrated. :P

The first observation I make is that vindicators are so awful, there were more urbanmechs than vindis present.

Thanks for the stats! This should inform the QQ, Whiner, Pee in my pants, cry babies saying that Clans are grossly OP. The numbers are pretty even across the board in killed mechs and damage. How much more proof do these guys need to show that things are pretty close. (in CW mechs) This by no means everything is perfect but in CW the mechs and loadouts are pretty close! :D Thanks again!

Well.. going by the numbers... clan heavies are way out of whack... But are balanced out by the rest being pretty much god awful. =P =D

Feel the need to point out to people posting that the stats show that the mechs (clan v IS) are close to even that the IS had a 10 tons per player bonus. That's 120 tons times 4 for a 480 ton advantage. If you get close to parity in damage with a disadvantage in throw weight the obvious conclusion is that at even up odds one side is better.

I never used more than 5 tons of it, I didn't want to rebuild a Banshee, or run Highlander, and moving my light up to a 40 tonner seemed to be a false economy, I was happy with my 60 and 65 ton heavies, going to a Grasshopper or Phract also seemed like a bad idea.

I ran the entire event with 245, and even down to 240 if we needed ECM I'd run a Spider.

You do not have to be a ******* genius to figure out that that some builds are simply better than others.

The numbers show how important weapon hard point placements are on a mech. Which is why there is few assault mechs on the clan list. Same with the light mechs only there probably as filler for weight limits. Speed and weapon placements > tonnage and overall armour.

sadly PGI response is MOAH LASER VOMIT WITH HIGH POINTS.

It must be nice to be able to drop assault mechs with out gimping your drop deck.

Just look at the number of IS assaults used vs the number of clan assaults used.

Nope nothing wrong with this at all......

The assaults were primarily stalkers (54313) followed far off by battlemasters (18820) , both 85tons (edited - way too many rum/coke). There was also the 10 ton difference between IS vs Clan but overall it did not help for a variety of reasons.

As for the damage dealt, that is the difference between taking out only Omega vs having to have the most kills/prevent Omega destruction.

Maybe the next battle will have the Clans defending and the IS attacking. How do many of you think how that will turn out?
