Just Avoid Cw

At the same time, I'm being told it's being used as intended. Good communication and coordination along with decent skill as a plus.
So there you have it. In short, CW is working perfectly, so avoid it.

It just seems like something is wrong with this. Story of MWO. Until I get my free MC from ranks, I won't stop completely pugging in CW, but I will be going less and less, meanwhile, getting more and more burned out. This is good, maybe I will have such a severe distaste and hatred for this game I can finally put it away for good.

i don't see what's strange there
when one of the sides has a greater advantage in coordination it wins, going as a soloq player you already give yourself a coordination disadvantage and the match making should fix it choosing for you either weaker or equally coordinated opponents... which it probably doesn't do

But I understand how it can be fun for some... so I'm not mad at PGI or the world... but CW really caters to UNITs only currently.. and not for a Solo casual gamer like myself... so I understand the OP's view...
but I will play this weekend's event... but only because im a selfish greedy ******* that likes free stuff... and getting 80 Match score is easy to do in CW... even though I know my Team will be stomped almost 90 percent of the time... I hope there are no wins for the challenges... otherwise most SOLO players are screwed this weekend

The only time I feel like fodder when solo dropping in CW is when the rest of my team is so bad that they are getting cored out so fast that our team cannot mount any time of firing line / blob.

This is pretty much where I'm at and most of my unit in the na tz. Just flat out bored and deflated with the constant let downs

Its sad but ya, that pretty much sums it up.
CW was made for the hard core players, so unless you belong to a guild/clan, then you're probably just going to get face rolled. Starting with a Gen Rush and ending with spawn camping.
So it ends up being that if you dont like being table scraps for the pre-mades, then dont do them. Not that I have anything against the pre-mades at all. They are just playing to win using the mechanics that are in place. Hats off to them.
I used to try to pug them a while back so I could get some free mech bays but gave up on CW. To me they are not worth the frustration.
Even these CW only events that they keep having to entice people to go play CW isnt enough for me. Dangling shinies in front of me so the pre-mades can have fresh meat isnt very appealing to me at all.

Soloed a game last night and got whipped 48-19 but the enemy 12 Clan Merc team played nice (but hard) and a few rivalry well intended jokes were tossed around in chat to smile at. I wish I remember their name as I would certainly recommend them as a good unit to join.
Try to identify whether your drop has a large group of players and defer to their commands certainly helps but basically just try to do your best and have some fun. Good grouped units will mention their Team Speak address at the start of the game for you to access which does make a big difference in game play.
Cheers!

Pretty much this. I very occasionally play with a group of friends but that's so rare it may as well never happen. It's certainly never happened for CW.
I think there has been one match in CW where I've felt like fodder (against a full Smoke Alliance 12 man, as pugs). Other than that one time, I hold my own well enough.
Am I doing it wrong?

And what about your teammates, mm? Unless you're very good at watching the MM qeue like a hawk, I'm betting you land in with the 'spawncamped losers' side of things every now and a again....

Actually, come to think of it, I think it's been a while since I've been spawn camped. So I might have forgotten the feeling.

It must be my time and method of choosing a drop.

Ok ok.. How is it that You're always the exception to every situation?
Ive noticed that in almost every thread that notes the games short comings (that are experienced my many others), its always you that never have those problems in nearly all of them that I have seen lately.
How is that even possible?
I suspect either a shill or somebody who just likes to argue.

Have you considered the possibility that I am just that lucky? If you only knew.

It's either that, or many things people complain about in this game just don't faze me much, if at all.
There is a very good reason why people out here in my neck of the woods have nicknamed me the "troublemaker".

<Now back on topic, boys.>

PS PGI will change the game, there is no doubt about that it will change. The real solution is YOU changing your perspective on life & death in MWO.

Everyone, even if they only have time for one 15 minute match, should feel like they're part of something bigger.
