I know you thought I was punking you by pushing Urbie so hard and long.... but...I think the results speak for themselves. I'm having ALMOST as much fun as I did in CB. And what's more, I am actually being effective (well, for me, in a Light, anyhow).
Nowadays you can usually find me in my Hunchback, Centurion, or my ghetto Deputy Dawg. And everytime I see other Urbies in game, I just get all giddy feeling. Ain't no feeling like taking out the Trash in your own personal Trashcan.
So thanks.
Who else is one of the Urbie faithful, or a convert?

In the 3 matches I've done so far tonight, I saw 7 total

This is a thank you thread, actually, TYVM.

And it was one too many Urbie thread and Urbie tweet that finally pushed Russ to giving me my Urbie.

we know. ask him for closed beta quality graphics, battletech style heatscale penalties. and a new collision system.
I do enjoy having the urbie in the game. I did not buy them, but seeing them on either team is a good laugh. I wish they were a little more speed restricted, but the flavor is there.

Only got 3 matches in tonight due to bad connection. Only one in my Urbie (4MG, Mlaser/LPL). I died. But I held up half their team for about 5 minutes (had 2 other Lights with me, including another Urbie), did 475 dmg and got a kill, while coring out 3 other mechs. Then our team moved in and cleaned them up FTW.

I suggest keeping forum accounts of your tweet exploits to a minimum. Someone is starting to complain about you and how "effective" your tweets are. I'm sure you've seen it.

One of the few things PGI did well.
And this happened 'cause pgi listened to the community.
'nuff said.

Where most of the non t1 mech hang out. People leveled them, and after the first shiny wore off many stopped playing them. That happens to pretty much all new mechs if they are not exceedingly good.
