Most Hated Mech By Pgi

Which of the current mechs do you think PGI has gotten the most wrong, either because of law or just out of "they could be awesome just if ..."
I would like to propose the Nova.
Bigger and fatter than I should be.
Slower than it should be. ( comparatively )
What no missile points ....
On the plus side it is one of the few mechs that feels like a large stomppy robot ...

Spider: Trash hardpoints (especially 5V!) yet very crappy quirks, even Locusts got better quirks.
Commando: Has the metal babby ever been decent, other than the 2D variant during the lagshield ECM days with old SSRM targeting?
Trebuchet: First medium to start the heavy/assault sized trend for its class.
Catapult: Bad hitboxes for a long time, mediocre hardpoints on some variants, large relative size, and most importantly F#$%ING WEAPON GEOMETRY VCR'S AND DINKY PPCS!
Summoner: It got shafted during BOTH Clan reinforcements waves, while the so-called "Trinity" mechs got shiny new pods that they didn't need (or deserve).
Quickdraw: Enough said.
Awesome: Lol.

* Reduced torso rate
* Terrible hard point geometry (those ears for A1, crap barrels for K2)
* Oversized model
* Mediocre quirks (good PPC quirks for K2? NOPE!)
* Terrible CT hitbox
I know there is more I can't think of at the moment.

It's that little Lynx that deserves more care and love from PGI....

What's really more hated though? A mech that is underwhelming right out of the box, or a mech that decent, but has been systematically stripped and humiliated since closed beta?
Having a crappy mech stinks, but having a good mech (at least for the time) and watching it's abilities getting stripped away and goofy characteristics added REALLY stinks. Its especially made worse because the power creep is greater than the mech's old advantages, yet they won't restore the old benefits due to old hatred.
The Catapult is pretty hated. Maybe the Victor is in a similar boat, but it hasn't seen the systematic destruction the Catapult has.

It feels like one of the few light mechs you can actually use in the role of scout .... But I really do suck in anything above a medium.

I'd say it's the summoner, that they saw a high mount and JJ's but they pre-nerfed it so they're probably happy with it.
I'd go with the crow, the work it needs with geo will take away from creating new mechs, costing them money.

I'm not sure if it's the worst or not...Commando's can get 9 TrueDubs and run 170 with 12 heatsinks and 4 MLs...while the Myth LYnx can run 124 with 4 ERMLs, 13 DHS, and only 7 TrueDubs.
Arms are big, which is a huge downside.
It could be such a good robot, if it weren't gimped by construction. (and apparently a 225 is only 160, and not 166)

Most hated mech is the Commando.
After all the visual passes and the quirk passes. The Commandoes got out right ignored and given paltry rewards for quirks. The Awesome at least gets some attention and weapon visual fixes.
Commandoes for being the 2nd Light mech in the game just get out right ignored. Which is why the T.D.K. was the 2nd Hero mech in the game.
Ironically, the most hated mech in the game ->USED TO BE<- was the Dragon because it was such a mutant of a Heavy mech with odd hitboxes and funky hard points.
Awesomes at least get to be pretty ponies; any Camo scheme seems to look FRIGGIN Amazing on the Awesome.

The Metal Babby has certainly been neglected quite a bit.

It probably applies to some heavies too...the Catapult amongst them.
But i think these mechs will never get any attention from PGI again.
They are old and they have sold the mech packs...little money to make off them now.
Ok....maybe not never. But they are certainly taking their sweet time about it.

Seriously though, the Awesome-Q is exclusive to it's own perverse hell that's constructed from overly complimentary lore fuff, a myopic weapon profile and geometry that is akin to the Great Wall of China.
You have to armor quirk this thing ten fold to salvage it's viability... Not saying it's not fun and can show flashes of brilliance... It just "is what it is".
