Greetings MechWarriors!

At 3:00 PM PDT (22:00 UTC) we will be applying a quick patch to the game, which fixes a couple of issues and affects the status of Community Warfare.

Please read the points below for information on what to expect when you next log in.

Bug fixes:
  • Incorrect call to arms will no longer be sent during an uncontested invasion/counter attack
  • Incorrect Queue Info will no longer be shown when an uncontested invasion/counter attack is triggered
Additional changes – post Tukyyid Event Community Warfare status
  • Inner Sphere Map Reset
  • Faction contracts reset
  • Title change from 'Beta' to 'Beta 2' on Faction home screen

By "Inner Sphere Map Reset," do you actually mean "all players named Dawnstealer get a free Hatchetman?"

Seeing as this is going to be called Beta 2 now can we expect another map reset in the future?

Of course faction resets with map reset. It begs the question as to why generalized faction resets before and during the Tukayyid event were not an option.

I'm certain russ said in the latest townhawll they might do another map reset for steam launch.

Dangit...faction contracts reset :P Broke my temp-clan contract last night so I'd be back at home (FRR) come sat/sun. LOL. Oh well, no biggie. Made plenty of c-bills this event/last few days. :D

Timezones is hard i try and organize some stuff for my unit every so often and time zones make my head hurt.

I'm okay with a Beta 2. Its good but not ready yet. Many things to fix.

I hope Beta 2 has bigger maps, more scout roles, more mission types other than funnel/spawncamp

Don't mind the map reset either. Although I wish units occupying got something like a constant c-bill stream each day for each planet. Even something like 10K per planet per day would be cool.

How to get everyone to flock to the single largest faction and make queue times even worse than they already are...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe what Fenrisulvyn is referring to is that if a unit is able to get a planet "tagged" as theirs, that their unit coffers should be getting something like 10k c-bills a day per planet with their "tag". That concept I'm perfectly ok with (once MWO has the actual logistics added).

However, I also agree that individual pilots should not be getting any sort of payout just for being in a faction with a lot of planets. It gives units something to work for (and this is coming from a PUG player) and could eventually play a bigger role in CW logistics. However, the reward concept is small enough and only really deals with CW logistics, so PUGs would neither gain nor lose anything.

Not so fast, Marik: I figure the last round we ignored your faction's....incursions...on our southern border while we were focusing on the Clans.

All I'm going to say is "read my sig" and "prepare for a fist with some really thick wrists and forearms..."
