they want to make them brawlers M pulse lasers are like IS normal M lasers on the storm crow prime but more damage and heat

I dont have any modules on mine ever so when i get around to it they should be really good

Things do feel light on patch content for May 19th mostly because such a huge effort is going on in the background on the new Mechlab. This takes up resources in every department, but were happy to say it is getting very close and will likely get a public test very soon, perhaps even this week. The live release date for Mechlab is likely June 2nd. There is also a lot of effort going into the underlying bones of Mechlab to improve save time and to fix the Invalid bug, this work will likely be ongoing beyond the initial Mechlab release. Work has also been underway to support the upcoming MASC technology coming with Wave 3 mechs. So yes we are expecting fairly heavy patches in June with the new Mechlab and Wave3 content.

I just logged in and I see the same mastery bundles as yesterday. Any news on when this will be implemented PGI?


OK this makes three of us having asked about these bundles that evidently were not there. What can you tell us Alex or Inner Sphere News? We're looking for answers. If they are delayed just say so. We know stuff happens and will understand but don't leave us completely in the dark. Please?

I bet the new bundles will be added after the phoenix owners voting and contain the various phoenix mech chassis' with new hero versions.

I don't use Gauss often enough to get the timing down - pulse lasers are much more my speed. And shooting regular PPCs is like floating slow-moving blue balloons at the enemy.

Clan nerf is what we need, especialy when so many players from clan units stopped playing.(75% of my unit just dropped the game.) PGI please stop tellin us, that we are playing lore-friendly game. This quirk story gone too far.

Great nerfs for the Stormcrow and Timberwolf !

The community will love you !

But I need a fallback to the 32 bit client to improve the lag issues !
Please fix this with the next patch.

Nerf does not have any reasonable explanation. Tukaiyyed won by clans 'cause pilots quality not mechs quality. And they deside to execute winners.

You've never piloted a clan mech before, have you? Anyone who has even tried a clan mech knows that they heat up regardless of heat-sinks and work well with short bursts followed by repositioning. That's because IS weapons are supposed to recycle faster and have lower heat (and yes, that's how it should be)

Also they didn't nerf the Hellbringer, so they are obviously targeting Wave 1 mechs, instead of clan mechs in general, because this has nothing to do with balance, they just want people to throw away their old toys and buy new ones.

The Timber Wolf has been my FAVORITE mech since 1994!

This patch now makes this mech UNUSEABLE. Half my Clan dropdeck is now inoperable. My energy cooldown and laser durations have both spiked to 18%, making it completely inefficient. What's the point? To make Clans stop using the mech that has been the signature and face of Mechwarrior since almost day one?

Hell, you can't even use the TBR-D variant's twin ERPPCs without cooking yourself!

Therefore, I refuse to pay any real cash or MC on any Clan mechs anymore; and my colleagues who reserved and preordered other Timber Wolf variants have demanded (and received) refunds.

I am not happy with this or the continued direction of PGI's plans for Clans. Clans don't get quirks-we get nerfs. This is not fair or respectful to people who paid real money for these mechs and are now being abandoned and even punished by the people who sold them these mechs.

Agreed I didn't pay REAL money to get punished for it. I guess you want me to take my money elswhere I think another company would appriciate my money better maybe even not nerf the crap out of the products i buy.

Unless these qnerfs are reversed my money will never ever be spent on a PGi product again.

PGI will probably not reverse the negative quirks to the TBR and SCR. BUT will reduce them as they start seeing data come in. They over nerfed them and will rain it back, similar to their over buffing IS quirks and bringing them back. We are playing a lobby shooter that needs balance.

This does make the Ebon Jaguar the strongest mech unless it ships with negative quirks!

Also, all you Summoner pilots can now take them into CW in a legitimate drop deck :P

I don't care about most nerfs right now, but the changes in mechlab are really disturbing...
