will probably be bigger than an Atlas, with super low hard-points.

Ah, my bad. Allow me to amend my statement.
The Executioner will have unprecedented mobility for its size without glass shoulders or being limited to 300m engagement range

The Executioner doesn't have the tonnage for multiple ballistics, no, nor does it have the M hardpoints to go completely missile-crazy, but it's got [E] pretty much literally everywhere, even without that crazed-insanity right arm for folks who didn't snag it ******* early. It'll be perfectly serviceable in Puglandia unless its geometry ends up just completely horrid, and frankly nobody takes anything over 70 tons in CW anyways so it doesn't matter if the thing isn't great in said mode, ne?

For a Free Style brawl (involves moving), the Executioner, it has Jump Jets, 24 Tons of free tonnage ( Gauss, Large pulse, 5 Mediums), and MASC, which allows it to move faster.
In short, moreover the Gladiator, it has more maneuverability and Clan Weapons Generally do more Damage.
Though I am getting both

Mauler will hit exceptionally harder than the Gladiator, true, but 6xAC5 is not a legit build. See the following template, with 57 tons of free space - 6xAC5 + 9T ammo is 57 tons. 9T of ammo is not enough for 6xAC5. Notice that it has a top speed of 44kph. It is far from viable, best you can do is 5xAC5 (still awesome).
Mauler Template
As others have said, Gladiator will be faster and more agile by far, but Mauler will hit a lot harder and more sustainably.
Gladiator will be a bit more durable due to 95 tonner amour vs 90 tonner, and because speed and JJs add to that durability.

yes, it can have up to 3 Ballistics per side torso, depending on variant. However 6xUAC5 is not possible for both weight and slot reasons (54 tons of guns without ammo is not realistic on a 90 ton mech, and 3xUAC5 takes 15 slots, side torsi only have 12.) 4xUAC5 + 4ML is a reasonable build though.

Dat ST might be terrible, so you must mount a ST (savior choice in an assault)
BUT if you want mount a lot of ballistic you need XL for the weight, and an XL assault is a coffin.
Does anybody here have ever mount 4 ac5 in a Crab?
How is possible to mount 6 in a lighter mech??

Maybe 6ac2. Good luck with that :/

Yep, that is possible.
Mauler Template
48 tons left, which is enough for 5xAC5 + 8 tons of ammo, at ~60kph. Bit light on ammo, but manageable (barely).
Downgrade engine to a 270 (53 kph) and you can fit 12.5 tons of ammo, but imo if you are going to run Dire Wolf speed, then you might as well actually drive a Dire Wolf.

it wont suck. hopefully those ST missile boxes will vanish when it has no missiles mounted. And it has almost exactly the same free space as a King Crab, when moving at the same speed (due to lighter engine required for the same speed), but without the drawback of ridiculously low slung wide apart arms carrying your Ballistics.

Yeah, but they can't put out the dps of 6 AC/5s haha, here's a little calculation:
6 AC/5s = 30 damage per shot. a single AC/5 has 3.01 DPS, you multiply that by 6, you get 18 DPS.
Cooldown of a single AC/5 : 1.66 seconds
2 AC/20s = 40 damage per shot. a single AC/20 has 5 DPS, you multiply that by 2, you get 10 DPS.
Cooldown of a single AC/20: 4 seconds.
We don't even know the quirks yet, so, it's just all speculation as per usual.
