And it only takes about 10 seconds to see which IS players support and like each other's posts in an incestuous little circle ***.

But congrats to you guys -- you finally drive the wooden stake in the dark, shriveled heart of the Clans. Now you can all pat each other on the back (and stroke each other's....egos) and come here to the forums to crow about your leet skills when the Clans are all limited to their one starting world.

Whatever. Pathetic.

lol. Yes and your little clan inbred circle jerks are any different? Pot? Meet kettle.

"Waaaah! We aren't completely OP anymore!! Now we actually need skill to play! QQ!"

Thank goodness your whining just represents the vocal minority and that there are plenty of GOOD Clan Players out there that don't need their hand held.

So much crying over a few slight nerfs to timber and storm. Dont forget they had been floating around ideas to balance them out to wich clanners cried a river over also. Such as the whole slower speed when you lose half your torso because clan xl is very survivable. They still are btw, so all this drama just proves how much you all leaned on those two crutches. Nevermind they can still missile well.

Hey Bish... I liked your post.

I am now patiently awaiting a little semi-circle "love-tug" that like is supposed to be offered to me! :P

The poster would assume a bias, start their post by asking if the individual pilots the mech/uses the weapon himself, then proceed to berate their pov before bothering to get an answer.

Not starting a fight, I am just at a loss if this means me, someone else or something else so I am left

MWO has a lot of power gamers in it. Battletech in general, seems to attract power gamers, I've met plenty of them at the hobby shop. Power gamers here are the meta cheese hounds.

Oh, CBT has had power gamers especially since the Clans showed up. Prior to that, the power gaming was not that bad given the limited but equal playing field.

They can still do anything well. But I guess if they aren't "best at literally everything" mechs a certain group of players will be upset over e-peen compensation shrinkage or something.

They're still the best mechs in their weight ranges.

The comment was not directed at you. Just answering the question as I see it.

and it would be very interesting to see you prove that statement with "facts based on real fact"

You Do exactly what you accuse PGI of doing and yet your doing it is somehow OK? Gotta call BS... sorry.

Well to be fair...

"#Q35: DustySkunk: Will we see another large tournament like last year? (Assumedly refering to the IGP tournament?)

A35: Wants to do it. New Community Manager to help facilitate this. Spectator Tools still need alot of work. Need to bite the bullet. Want Cash Prizes! Wants more serious tournament scene.

----------------------------------------------------

Russ talking about Player Reaction to change. Understands the dislike of change, relearning mechs or the annoyance of buying things that are now 'obsolete'. Thunderbolt 9S is still really nice.. Wolverine is still strong. People react without experiencing. In the Reactionary world all chassis being viable is a myth... wants to avoid that.

Going to be much more incrementalin quirk changes in the future. Most of changes in latest Quirk pass based on player feedback.

March 17th non weapon quirks possible. Atleast one patch a month 2-8 mech getting some changes"

Russ and company missed the mark of where they were saying they were aiming for.

The IS balances adjustments are "incremental..." TW and SC quirks are not... sorry. It's not the "oh noez mah meks R reks now!" fallacy, as I really don't play them. It's the fact of being mislead and lied to about their intentions of future balance that doesn't sit well with me, and it's akin to repeating the August 8 Clan Laser nerf and following weapon blanket nerfs all over again. Almost a full year later and it feels they've gone full circle, and like they haven't really learned from their mistakes which is why people are wanting refunds or holding on to their wallets regarding Clan mechs.

That was from May 19, it is now July 31. The circle of life has...well....come full circle. This time it is the IS's turn to ***** so I'll go.
Remember when the Clans cried about a Firestarter with all small pulse lasers was OP? We now see the Arctic Cheetah with all smpls doing the same thing.

Believe me, when Resistance II comes out, Clanner tears will flow. Clanner tears will flow once the IS gets UAC10/20, MRM's, SSRM4/6, ER medium lasers, Light Gauss Rifles, RAC's, heavy gauss rifle, new chassis integrating old Star League tech, salvaging Clan OmniMechs, and buying material from the awesome Diamond Sharks.

THEN when the IIC chassis come out that December, it's is just going to be good IS mechs upgraded with Clan technology and I am sure the IS will be back to bitching when the Clanners are done with their sob story. (Don't be like the Ice Hellions saying that no one takes you seriously or the Word of Blake and lose their **** when they don't get their way.) Tis the cycle of life. Cheers!

Edit: I forgot the heavy gauss rifle!
