But Hunchbacks aren't "bad"

Well you are right, I guess it's because I mastered them pre-quirk, and they weren't as popular as the 55 tonners.

I go all lone ranger in a Kit Fox. To tell the truth i stay away from my team in all my mechs but they all have +100 kph speed and JJ's.
I don't exactly boat. I want AC2's to be functional despite how unpopular they are. I think MG's are incredible in the later half of a match due to all those exposed internals.

My Kit Fox fav build. ECM, ER PPC, 2xSPL, 4xMG and 6xJJ. I go onto enemies flanks/rear and confuse them as much as i can.

That would be my Ice Ferrets, I'd say Commando but I dont think people believe they are bad, just old news and locust's have more hardpoints and same armor/structure after quirks.

As for Ice ferrets though, name me one other mech that has 50+ firepower and runs 143 KPH. Ya.. you cant... and yet most refer to it as "bad" I laugh at them, destroy them then move on to the next target. Best part is you often get ignored Black Jack syndrome I call it.

My favorite bad mech - Spider 5V. I just can't resist urge to touch the sky! Also, one time I killed Atlas 1v1 in that thing. LRM Atlas.

Ya thats the only spider will pilot, and one of the most unique mechs in the game. Due to its speed and JJ agility and rapid firing MPLs I actually get 400-600 damage and alot of kills. very easy to take out red crit torsos, and limbs when you have 12 damage firing every 1.5-2 seconds.

Ahh WUBs. Doesn't WUBs make any mech better? Sure it might TECHNICALLY makes some perform worse, but is it really worse?

With WUBs we are all winners :)

Urbie jump sniper with 2 erppc

Runs hot as hell and cannot jump much at all but it's a fun mech to play. Makes me laugh almost everytime.

I run 1 ERPPC , 2 SLasers, 3 MGs in my Urbie R63. It works pretty good. After 45 matches, 1.16 KDR. Not great, but it's an Urbie above 1 so I'm happy :D. At least it's fun.

Commando all the way. It's been overshadowed since it hit the field and it's never looked back. I like the 3A the best.

For me also. My Spider 5V, "Icarus" is a joy to race the sun in.

My CUAC Timberwolf.

I've been hearing for two days now how bad CUACs are and how the Timbie is dead. Yet I keep killing and recording high damage scores in it.

Apparently that's impossible.

Certainly Summoner is up there....but that is actually decent so I can't pick that one. I have to go with a true underdog like say Mist Lynx. Other then the fact that it flies more like an aerospace fighter only beaten by the 12JJ Spider, it is doomed to run as hot as active volcano with lack of firepower at slower than ideal speeds (i.e. Gauss bait).

Summoner and Orion.

I'd give the Orion PPC quirks since Kerensky had that Snub-PPC on his and give that giant left torso too much armor since it seems to be a damage magnet. The Orion is best at long to medium range so PPC quirks suit it well.

The Summoner I would just make much tougher in CT and ST's since it is supposed to be a great brawler. That would balance out the low number of weapons.

Love my kit Foxes. Can't seem to quit them. I'm good at playing support, keeping our assaults' backs clean from firestarters and also providing suppressing fire while the big guns are cooling down, but I'm bad at carrying teams, so the kit fox just seems to fit me like a glove.

My non ECM commando.... to light and to slow to be worth much of anything, no JJ's to boot, but hella fun if you want a real challenge....

Yea my one LRM 5 is OP.... add to that my one ML. sure i could go 2x SRM4 and try for some rear armor.....

ECM is however where the real fun begins..... i have managed to get into a stand of trees just out of IR and low light range 350 - 450 meters so players are reduced to finding the commando in the trees. i scored so many back shots the atlas thought he was being TKed and started unloading into a friendly who did nothing.....glorious....

It takes some real skill to get a kill in the 20 ton death trap....

But to get one via a team kill is god like....

Urbanmechs and bad mechs should never be in the same sentence.
