The penalty that is removed is the time/wait. The C-bills however is a completely different matter (no refunds).


Anyways, it's amazing how the Gargoyle still doesn't have other Camos available other than the Faction camos... very sad.

Guess I can at least use it to try out an Ice Ferret variant, assuming I don't burn out on the 12 matches. Still technically trying to take a break after all.

Clan Invasion Event sucks, but this sale is very nice. Can anyone give me a hint, which mech should I buy? Ice Ferret, Mad Dog or Hellbringer?

Depends - if you like missiles go for mad dog, ice ferret is just not that good. Hellbringer is a very good mech.

Personally I would go hellbringer.

Hellbringer for l4s0rZ and ballistics, Mad Dog für LRMs/SRMs.

I'd go Mad Dog out of those.
Great at Missiles (long and short)
Good at everything else, though not great.
But overall very versatile and great fun.

I favour the 6x5lrm mdd myself.
Very aggressive support mech and second line brawler.

Hm, got enough c-bills for 3x kitfox or 3x nova. This are the only chassis that I don't own. Kitfox are useless when Arctic Chetah will be released. Nova sucks ass against Stormcrow. All other clan mechs (except Gargoyle but who wants them?) are allready mine. :/

Think I will save the c-bills for the next module sale.

The sale allowed me to get the Stormcrows (all 4) and the Hellbringers to replace my useless Novas and Summoners.

Have been waiting for this. Didnt expect it so soon, and not before a 50% mech bay sale.

spent 45M within two minutes on 3 x SCRs and 3 xHBRs. Savings of 24M.

Not caring about the nerfs. That goes up and down like the stock market.

Great sale. Now to save up again for the IS equivalent.

Kit Fox won't be invalidated.

The Arctic Cheetah will be good, but at the end of the day, the Kit Fox has 15T (14 with ECM equipped) and 25 crit slots to play with after armour.
The Cheetah will only have 9T free.
8 When armoured properly. (7 with ECM equipped)
All for only 30kph over the Kit Fox. (when tweaked).

The Cheetah will be a solid mech, but it'll be sort of equivalent to a slow, upgunned spider, or a slightly slower, underarmoured Firestarter.

I say go for the Kit Foxes! : D
They're reasonably versatile, good fun and solid performers. (At least for me)
(Nova is just generally meh, I wouldn't buy it for C-Bills either)

Huh. You people are wierd. I have three Ryoken, three Madcats, and even three Lokis, and still I think I like the three Blackhawks and a Man'o'War drop deck myself. Just can't beat 12 laser hardpoints for high damage sustained conflict. I'm really trying to like the others, I am. I just don't see it.

Thanks for the sale. I just bought 3 Madcats, 2 Ryoken (to round out the free one I got), 2 Pumas (to round out the free one I got). Didn't have enough money for the Loki but spent about 47 million c-bills in total.
