In light of the faction switch scandal, various conspiracy theories have spread regarding mercstar

1. Mercstar plotted to get the Inner Sphere nerfed and then switched to Clans for the EZ mode even though the supposed EZ mode patch doesn't hit for weeks.

2. Comstar agents from the future are plotting against the Inner Sphere and are controlling PGI.

3. Reptilians from the next dimension crash landed in Tunguska and Antonius Rex is one of them.

4. Mercstar is in constant communication with PGI through secret lines of communication (Twitter) and they do everything we want. The faction swap proves it.

That was clearly part of the deal they made. What is unclear at this point is that was it a sort of admission price PGI paid to join MS, or was taking over CW development the price MS paid to PGI, to gain PGI competitive team in MS ranks? Who is the winner here?

Yep. Pretty much all that.

You did leave out that half of MS is apparently sleeping with the other half, creating a lot of awkward sexual tension that spills into the forums in the shape of Joanie loves Chachi baby mama drama.

I also heard that SWOL is actually a MS puppet group consisting of 18 players and 350 Blueduck alt accounts, giving MS perceived leverage at both the top and bottom end of the spectrum.

I heard that MS developed a Voice Attack profile to control MWO mostly hands free.

This was not done for a performance advantage but instead to allow them to touch themselves while pug-stomping.

So Russ has stated that 20% of MWO players play in CW, and half of that is MS and their alt accounts.
