There are ten of us.

All over the world.

And some are...no longer with us (rest in peace, Charlie One :( ).

Plus Bravos, Charlies, Kilos, Indias...

XD I sympathize with Commander DD1. Posted Image

Meanwhile, latest intel out of the Inner Sphere is that after taking our seventh planet tonight, Inner Sphere pilots felt so terrified about facing us that they refused to push into our positions while we begged them to come fight us.

Furthermore, our dropships touched down on our latest target, only to find an entire Inner Sphere base abandoned...with 48 fresh mechs ripe for the claiming!

But instead of taking them, we decided to spraypaint obnoxious symbols on all the cockpits and groin sections of the mechs with 'gangsta' styled writing screaming out "MercStar rulez!"

Newest claim I heard was that MercStar is ENTIRELY responsible for all tonnage mistmatches, changes, and nerfs. Allegedly, top commanders bribed Clan officers with bacon and threatened to declare that small PPs were detected, while similarly referring to Inner Sphere officers as Adonis-like chocolate-sculpted love gods to stroke their egos.

Here's something new!

I heard that on Christmas Eve (and Christmas Day), MercStar gave the enemy the best gift possible...

Crabs!

Recruits I have trained to not only expertly drop as a 12-man while also playing quickplay to spread the love and cheer (and tears and fear) throughout both Faction Warfare and Quickplay (and make pugs cry twice), but also to catch pesky rodents!

These frisky felines will become the standard for what is expected of a new MercStar recruit! By the time I'm done, they'll be able to outscore Xavier and Kwea combined!

Talk about setting a low bar for success. :D

the darth vader scene at the end of rogue one is pretty much what happens when MS goes up against pugs

I heard a rumor that this thread was dead.

No, just that Xavier started it so he took all the funny out of it for himself and then closed it to everyone else. Because since he started the thread all the funny in it belongs to him.

That's the fair way to do it. If you want new funny of your own you have to start a new thread - though you can call it something almost identical.

I also heard a rumor that no one wants to join MS because people hate winning. They'd rather just shoot crap and hope they hit something, then scream when they lose, because that's more fun than teamwork and winning.

Not quite. People like winning -

they just hate WINNERS. People who win too much are either cheating, have no life (insert ad hominem here) or are being bullies on purpose.

Because it's easier to justify why you fail than it is to learn to win.

How about ignorant of actual facts.

MS isn't dissolved in MWO, there is a placeholder holding it open, keeping those funds, and MS-R funds, in play. Members were just kicked out, the money still exists.

Next time check your facts before calling me out. I don't lie, and I check my facts before posting them on a message board.

Some say their armpits smell of sugared fish,
and that their scrotums have ears...

Some say their legs are on backwards,
and, that they speak in colors.

All we know is, they're called Mercstar.

I heard that, of late, Mercstar have been unable to beat even the low-tier teams according to SWOL rankings.

I heard 80% of MS's player base were 228 app rejects, but I'd presume that would be giving them too much credit.

I heard that 80% of 228 are so new now they've never heard of Mercstar.

To quote Shakespeare (which I love to do):

To be [MS], or not to be [MS], that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the forums to suffer
The salt and hackusations of outrageous skittles,
Or to take Mercstar Rumors? against a Sea of forum warriors,
And by opposing feed them: to read, to post

evermore; and by a post, to say we feed
the butt-ache, and the thousand natural shocks
that fragile ego is heir to? 'Tis a consummation
devoutly to be wished. To read, to post,
To post, perchance to troll; aye, there's the rub,

for in that post of mockery, what trolling may come,
when we have shuffled off this Faction Play subforum,
must give us pause. There's the respect
that makes Calamity of so long thread life
