any smart aimbot user would aim to the ct
i guess, but that would also suck in this game. when there are faster ways to drop a mech most of the time than shooting ct. or even more useful/efficient like legging them and leaving.
why would you shoot ct on a dire wolf or warhawk, unless you're in a 100 ton mech yourself. any facetanking match you will lose unless you shoot their less armored sidetorso, and take away some of their guns. what about a dragon, or even jager>?
from what i can tell by just playin the game, most players can land shots on an enemy's CT even in their sleep.
they'd have to be pretty bad to need help with that, or targetting a mech that has a tiny ct and moves fast, like stormcrow, timberwolf.
but again, why would you want to? i guess they are so bad that being able to shoot ct reliably - is an improvement?
unless they always keep away from facetanking range and heavier mechs, but that would imply they possess some sort of skills for positioning and strategy... so why would they not just learn to aim?
also - who is managing their heat? i could understand if you shoot cockpit with your aimbot, that you don't even need the skills to manage your heat, just 1 shot kill.
but if you are going to cheat by targetting a ct that takes 15 ppc shots to chew through or whatever, then you are expecting to at least use SOME skills to manage your weapons, ranges, manage the heat...
the only advantage i see to it, is being able to core a light mech in 1 shot, but! do they have an aimbot that can lead their shots? that's a fancy aimbot!! so many questions.
it seems that for all the skills they would have needed in the end - it's kinda pointless,
i feel like aiming is not the hardest part of this game. positioning, heat management... ranges on your loadout (if you are not just boating medlas), twisting, focus fire, and targetting components.
it seems like not only is aiming one of the least important aspects of this game, but a hack to shoot ct would actually make you worse than most players, better only than cadet noobs.
they should have stuck with the games version of aimbot instead, LRM targets mostly CT and they lead/chase targets. LOL!
seems cheaters are not only lazy and mediocre, but also stupid
