You work with blender?wow, I use Scetchup, same result but much much easier for me. I see great potential in You, have you exp with in paper models or this is Your first? Nice to see more paper modelers here:) It is fun and give so much satisfaction that you have build something cool with your hands:)

It's been a hobby for a few years now
i usually search and build with only 1/4 of it's intended original model size (much more challenging). theres only 2 thing that were not scaled down are the warhammer dreadnought and the nanosuit 2.0 (first one i built and it is the ugliest)Posted Image
the original paperkit has locked joint, so this was my first time trying to make moveable joint in mech model. As you can see lots of trial and error Posted Image

much better

other works (credits go to the original creator) this is like making figurines on budget lol (all did on a 1/4 scaled down, i printed 4 pages on 1 sheet of paper)

You have gotten much positive feedback already but seeing this for the 1st time is awesome! I love seeing fan creations :P They look very high quality, as if PGI made them them self (which might even be not as good :P) but i had a hard time convincing myself it was paper. And it only takes you, 4 weeks? That's quite fast! I'd probably take me at least a year to have a high quality paper mech such as that

Well, first I want to say that I was not a modeler or something, I've done maybe 3 ww2 tanks in the past. I live in Poland, not so many battletech fans here, but I always loved Mechwarrior games, from MW2 to MWO and mechcommander. My dream was to have Timberwolf model on my desk, but it was so hard to buy.. an the ones on the ebay was small and not nice.. then I discovered on internet this Posted Image and decided to try it out.. result (on screenshot is my very first model) was interesting:) so I build MW3 summoner Posted Image but it was too simple and static so i broke it apart and improved, added joints and constructed right arm from scratch without computer use..
this is result Posted Image
Next was flea MW4 just to get some exp.. then I saw the light, and decided to build much better timber then the first one, but modifications was so big that I was forced to paint it etc.. So this is how it was:) Next stage was to learn some 3d programs to make my own projects, I never expect I will achieve level where I am now.. And I got distinction on modelers expo for my Timberwolf Posted Image Posted Image
So now is 1 year with Battletech models.

Thank You! I always try to do things better and better, I am happy that I can share my passion to mechs with other BT and MW fans :)

Do you plan to create switchable weaponries for your mechs ? Like dual rocket pods for the Hunchback or dual PPC/gause canon for the Catapult. I'm dropping the single standard Hunchback canon, gonna pimp my Hunchback with PPC and stuff :3

BTW i'll start posting smaller pictures from now on :'(. This is your post after all, felt a little intrusive with some of my last posts.

Maybe if I find some time I going to make PPC for Catapult, no other plans, when model is painted and stand on shelf you don't want to touch it anymore;)

You can post what you like here, no problem :)

Only Hunchback is pretty much ready, but still you need some experience to build it..

It'd be worth practicing on time and time again. :)

Such mastery of papercrafting. The only things I ever get when I mess with papercraft are paper cuts. Posted Image
I especially like the Hunchback laying on its back. Posted Image

I'm really psyched to see how my Timber Wolf will come out

So, thanks for Your hard work on your version of TIMBER WOLF, as I said before, this is best looking Timber I've ever seen.. RUsL done so great work on creating his model kit, I cant do it so professional for sure, but sadly PGI version of this mech is not perfect for me, at least.

If You don't mind.. I have rescaled upper torso a little bit, here are the results, I think it looks better but I waiting for opinions of others Timby fans before I begin to convert it to paper model..
