I have never understood why they removed the original Polar Highlands map and the Terra Therma map with two levels. Or the second version of the Caustic Valley map. Or the original HPG Manifold.

I would say that it is better to have more maps to choose from.

Let the players decide which map they would like to play on. This is what the voting system is for.

Other than the original polar highlands map a (which was trench warfare with LRMs as artillery) And the original river city (it was way to small), yes we should have all the older maps. Did they remove forest colony classic?

I have not seen the MWO Community Manager interacting with the forums fans for months. Usually, he just posts Mech Pack offers or something like that..

I'd like to see some new decals, U.S and British flag for a start. You have Three political flags there now so why not others that gamers actualy want?

Agreed.. getting political is nothing but a slippery slope. And then, where does it end? They should have stayed away from politics and virtue-signaling.

PGI started virtue signalling years ago and as those flags show, they have no intention to stop.

A "Drop Deck" feature needs to be added into Quick Play, based on class. This would allow the individual to determine which mech would be best suited for the map/game-type being played. Have the drop deck consist of a number of mechs all of one class.

For example: I choose an Assault mech, I hit Quick Play and everything continues the same. Once at the Map/Game-Type screen, everything continues as it is now. However, once the Map & Game-Type have been determined, each pilot will have a choice of other mechs (Assault mechs) from his/her Drop Deck. Give it say another 10 second timer before launching the Match.

This would alleviate bringing a mech with a severe disadvantage to the match because of Map/Game-Type limitations.

Piloting a none connected players Mech. You know sometimes one of your team mates does not connect and you are in effect a Mech down. Well first player to die should respawn in that Mech, rather than it just staying pilotless for the opposition to shoot.

repair / reload when standing in base without taking fire. a slow repair of armor and a slow reload of ammo. no structure or components replaced / repaired. only armor and ammo.

can you guys make a hanger for mech options last after we vote for map and game type.

it is frustrating to feel like spamming missiles then the map voted is solaris city.

or feel like brawling then the map voted is one big map and every one is capping beacons.

this is so we can pick the mech for the conditions voted and not game over in 3 mins

Flamers changed to 0.2 damage and 150m range, this would mean they can be used on more than just lights.

Reposting from Feature Suggestions: When you shut down an enemy mech with your flamers, you should get extra points for that. It requires skill to get close and use the flamer. Flamers don't do damage like other weapons, but when you shut down an enemy mech, it really helps your team.

Giving bonus points for shutting down an enemy mech would be a fair adjustment to reflect your contribution to the team. It should be just like the bonus points you get for spotting an enemy, lance in formation, or popping a UAV.

It would also encourage use of an interesting weapon and bring some variety into games.
