For example: I choose an Assault mech, I hit Quick Play and everything continues the same. Once at the Map/Game-Type screen, everything continues as it is now. However, once the Map & Game-Type have been determined, each pilot will have a choice of other mechs (Assault mechs) from his/her Drop Deck. Give it say another 10 second timer before launching the Match.
This would alleviate bringing a mech with a severe disadvantage to the match because of Map/Game-Type limitations.

it is frustrating to feel like spamming missiles then the map voted is solaris city.
or feel like brawling then the map voted is one big map and every one is capping beacons.
this is so we can pick the mech for the conditions voted and not game over in 3 mins

Giving bonus points for shutting down an enemy mech would be a fair adjustment to reflect your contribution to the team. It should be just like the bonus points you get for spotting an enemy, lance in formation, or popping a UAV.
It would also encourage use of an interesting weapon and bring some variety into games.
