After spotlighting the pre-order packages for the last 4 weeks we felt it was time to pay homage to some of the original Hero 'Mechs.

So dust these Heroes off or grab one on sale. Premium Time booster packs are also on sale during this event, so don't forget to activate or snag some Premium Time to stack your bonuses!

Hero 'Mech C-Bill Boost increased for the Event!

We're boosting the following Hero 'Mech C-Bill bonuses from 30% to 50% for the duration of this event!

• Commando Hero: COM-TDK "THE DEATH'S KNELL"
• Jenner Hero: JR7-O "OXIDE"
• Centurion Hero: CN9-YLW "YEN-LO-WANG"
  
• Cicada Hero: CDA-X5 "The X-5"
• Cataphract Hero: CTF-IM "ILYA MUROMETS"
• Dragon Hero: DRG-FANG "FANG"
• Dragon Hero: DRG-FLAME "FLAME"
• Awesome Hero: AWS-PB "PRETTY BABY"
• Highlander Hero: HGN-HM "HEAVY METAL"

Combining the boosted Hero 'Mechs with active Premium Time will double your C-Bill income for the duration of the event!

I Need a Hero Leaderboards:

• You must play the specific Hero 'Mech to participate in the "I Need a Hero" Leaderboard Challenge
• Only your best 10 matches over the course of the event will be counted toward the Leaderboard
• Solo and Group Queue matches will be counted for these game modes: Assault, Skirmish, and Conquest
• Private matches and Community Warfare matches DO NOT count!
• Score Formula:
• (Solo Kill x 30) + (Kill Most Damage x 20) + (Killing Blow x 10) + ( Kill Assist x 10) + (Win × 10) + (Loss × 5) + (Survive × 10) + (Dead × 5) + ((Damage done - Team Damage) ÷ 15)
• 1st Tie-Breaker: Number of Matches Played (Fewer is better)
• 2nd Tie-Breaker: Team Damage (Less is better)
• All Leaderboard prizes are awarded at the end of the event!

Luckily I just got into the swing of how to use an Oxide.

I wish I could use my Misery for this, but it seems to be mostly the bad hero mechs that hardly get played.

I guess I can use my Killya Murdermech for this one.

With the changes to ghost heat, a Heavy Metal can use 3 Large or ER Large lasers on the arm now.

I'm a bit disappointed by the limited selection of heroes in the event ... if only because I don't own any of them . It would have been nice if all the heroes had received a cbill boost for the weekend even if they were not all included in the leader board event.

My Ember and St. Ive's Blue won't help me much here. Maybe I've just gotten spoiled over the last few events but wheres the prizes for 20 matches like you've been having, or anything for people who don't own these specific Mechs. The bonuses give me reason to play more, which is good.

The ILYA is still the monster it was last year but it's also part of the class weight that makes everyone wait half an hour for a drop so i might pass my turn on it.

Yeah i think this event is the perfect reason to polish the Pretty Baby and take it out for a killing spree.

Oh wait i just noticed the X5 is in the list, it used to be my fav mech.

Hmm I own all the Hero mechs but am saddened that PGI didn't have prizes for non owners. Guess I'll skip playig this weekend as well as prem time ticks away .

Bad Call PGI. I only have one Hero (Misery), but still would have played this weekend except no challege for non hero (on the list) mechs. Only chasis I have or would want on your list is the Yen-Lo-Wang, but as nothing for players with out your hero list mech I will have to think about spending $$ on it. Do I really want to play one mech all weekend?

Ironically I've been currently working on leveling my Dragons, which includes the two heroes. Just Elited them last night, so now I can work on mastering them during this event....which I was going to be doing anyway.

I like how this event is truly about the worst of the hero mechs. It's so obviously transparent.

Fortunately, I liked the TDK long before it was good and terribad, so I guess that's the only one I'd care about.
