I am a little (a lot) disappointed that the reward for the top 5 of each hero 'mech is only 1 mechbay. I mean, really, TOP 5 out of everyone and all you get is a mechbay? I would expect just a little more for taking my time to bust out or buy (lets be honest now) some of the worst hero mechs and trying hard enough to actually place in the top 5... all for a mechbay?

So PGI staff are allowed to participate in the Leaderboard Event? Isn't that against company policy? I know other gaming companies do not allow staff members to be eligible for events ran by their employers... seems odd...

doesn't that take away chances for position from one of your community members playing MWO?

Genreally speaking the devs are not very good at playing their own game so they'd probably just be target practice for you. Even Alex himself said he's not very good in dev Vlog# 11.

Normally I would agree, but monetarily the rewards are worth a few bucks so no big deal. If we were talking about a mech, or some unique cockpit item, or tons of MC, then ya totally not cool.

I almost never see them in the field so this might be fun. (Although I suppose technically they shouldn't be competing. I'm just not going to make a stink about it in this case.)
I suppose they can nullify their prize if they win one, and bump the next person up on the list. Win win for everyone.

Speaking of Rock On! The Heavy Metal is a great IS mech, only outgunned more recently by some clan mechs...

And the original "war horn" is still the best one in MWO. Why they can't seem to improve on it is beyond me... but with the new armor quirks you should dust off your Heavy Metal and have some fun. It rocks with UAC5+AC5+PPC+2MPs+LRM15... 330XL is a must. Upgrade to ERPPC when its mastered and you have a mech that can hit hard at all ranges and has good armor.

That would be an awesome feature, to be able to see what your top 10 matches actually are. I dont think PGI like awesome features apparently.

Well, I can't seem to keep my heroes around long and I promised myself that I would not buy anymore since they are only available for real money, but they are saleable, unlike the (f) / (P) / (I) / ®...etc..... It is okay, though I am having allot of fun playing Heroes of the Storm these days.

Do the bonus c-bills apply in CW games? Thinking about bringing an all bonus hero drop deck (HGN-HM, DRG-FLAME, CN9-YLW and COM-TDK). I don't think it would be very effective and I probably would earn more money bringing good mechs but it might be kind of fun.

So meanwhile My Jester and Pirates bane will just sit there collecting dust. (if the reward is the same for them i'm not going to be playing them either. i've got plenty of free mech bays from other challenges , some still open.
