I also expect my fans/customers to be civil in their discussions with me or my staff, just like any normal person would have wanted.

Some things to think about....

If Russ is fine with the snails pace of the game that means that in it's current state, MWO is making PGI more than enough money that they don't have to worry about catering to the player base, otherwise a person wouldn't be so accepting of the same team death match murder ball arena game this has been since it's inception.

Oh well, **** I'm just glad I haven't spent any money on this game in ages and can continue to buy all the mechs for free with c-bills later. At this point unless I see a mech coming in the future that I want to buy with c-bills, I don't even bother playing.

Until I see the Warhammer, Marauder, Rifleman, Bushwacker, Archer, Mackie come in, there is nothing to interest me in spending any real $$.

I've already put $100 into this "free" game, and no regrets at all for spending it, have gotten a hell of alot of mileage out of that $$, so no real hard feeling from my end at all influencing my decisions, I would just prefer to see my favorite mechs of all time get a spotlight before I hand anymore out.

You can't really blame Russ for not venturing on the forums and instead sticking to twitter and the town hall thing, given what a cesspool of toxicity these forums tend to be.

On a semi-related note, I can understand, although not agree, with Russ not posting on the forums, given the volatility and polarity within them.

If a game company does not like how their forums are going, they need to lay down the law. Letting things go to hell does not speak well of the company's abilities.

The folks defending the OP and his 'conversational skills' towards Russ have obviously never run their own business, and I have my doubts that they've even HAD a job if they think that sort of behaviour should be tolerated from a customer.

Rude and aggressive behaviour isn't accepted in polite society, weren't you taught that as a child like the REST of us were?

Outright LIES and falsehoods, which the OP presented here, are also not accepted behaviour in polite society, and yet some of you are telling the OP how right he was, despite the fact that he lied and the twitter convo SHOWS he lied, still you applaud him?

I'd slap my grown children if I saw them do that to someone, ANYONE, regardless of them being a boss or just a peon, it's totally unacceptable.
