It will be getting a missile arm at some point.

I was against picking up the Arctic Cheetah and the Ebon Jaguar. However, I like my Firestarters and the Centurions and you want to make clan mechs like those with ECM and JJs? Since, PGI doesnt want to make Hero Clan mechs I broke down and bought the EJ package.

I want OP mechs and get to run them for 6 months or so till they come out for c-bills. Super fast maneuverable clan mechs that will punch out legs and backs ... lol. This will give me something to do while other games come out. Getting closer to that title I want ... "The People's Hero".

I think it might be a dark horse that surprises a lot of people. The TW has been nerfed so when comparing to it you cant forget that. Plus this mech has one more built in heat sink and what 125ish more armor. And it will probably be faster in bursts than a TW. And it has jump jets even if they are only good for getting over stones of bumping up inclines. And it has that with enough tonnage and hard points to do all of the best loadouts of the TW from the past. Like the 2 LPLs and 4 ERML build. And it might end up being just viable with duel gauss. Not to mention AC / laser builds.

Also you can build a laser vomit that is left sided with the huge right shield arm being empty. If it can twist its toso fast enough and has good hit boxes it could be rather tanky.

So do I think it will be OP no probably not. But does it have a very good chance to be fun and viable in solo and group sure.

1 rack.

No really, 1 rack.

That'll go with the current missile rack Nova omnipod for a grand total of TWO!

Look at the pod space, then say Dual Gauss again.

Laser vomit+Gauss, or just straight up Laser Vomit, with niche short range builds (UAC20+6SPLS, 13 SPLS, things like that) are what it will be acceptable at.

18 tons of hardwired equipment means 25 tons of pod space.

On the plus side, it looks pretty badass

Makes full use of the gigantic arm.

Yeah...these pictures are too dark. I'm not about to fix them.

if the No-Va was scaled down about 15% it would be pretty cool regardless of flaws...it looks great...and yeah that missile arm is pretty sweet.

Now if only Clan UACs didn't look like the exhaust pipes off a honda accord.....

It's 26.5 stock; missing ~1.5 tons of armour.

Efficient max armour is 25 tons of pod space.

Adequate for decent loadouts, but for a 95 ton mech it's lacking.

It can pack decent brawling loadouts, or typical laservomit.

Its kinda funny how one build on the most powerful mech in the game is considered lacking on a heavier mech. It can run the Timber Wolf laser vomit as good as the Timber Wolf.

There are a few factors we can't judge yet. HItboxes, how MASC impacts it, etc. But I think it is safe to say it will have good performance. It just wont be the most optimal choice for a drop deck.

So that is my prediction: good but not optimal.

I was seriously thinking about pre-ordering the Gladiator/Executioner cause I really liked it in MW4:Mercs. Had crazy ACC/DEC. But I think what turned me off is that if they go according to tabletop it will have a max speed of around 87-89 with MASC activated. Well, my Gargoyle goes 89 all the time, my Awesome 86 and my Battlemaster 84 all the time. Why would I want another Assault that can occasionally go just a wee bit faster than my normal ones while possibly crippling my legs in the process? I realize it is 95 tons, but even my Banshee goes 75 all the time. While the extra speed boost will be nice, and eventually I plan on buying one for CBills, I cannot justify spending $55 ala-carte (not interested in any of the others).

8t of hardwired class 1 JJ, when using more than 1 of those is nothing but wasted tons. Thats like cutting 6t away from your mech. 6t just... gone. A 89t mech in a 95t body.

1) if they go by TT speeds it will run at 95 with MASC activated
2) it has a lot more tonnage to play with than the Gargoyle, making it a lot more viable.
3) It can jump - yeah yeah, hoverjets but actually they are pretty useful on my DW with only 1 or 2 so i think it will be able to get up the walls in canyon for example, if a little slowly.
4) Unlike your speedy Battlemasters, Awesomes and Banshees it will not die when losing 1 ST.

Executionner: You! Ebon Jaguar! More popular than me! Explain now!

Timber Wolf: He look absolutly awesome just like the Cauldron Born.

Executionner: The f*ck's a Cauldron Born?

Summoner: Basicly something so awesome just like the shadow cat.

Executionner: But I don't look like a shadow cat!

Timber Wolf: Do you really believe your hype that much?

Executionner: I AM THE HYPE!

Makes no sense.
