Not sure who is doing the play testing but they need to do a better job with hit boxes. Did they not notice the center torso hit box on the Executioner is to large? Should be smaller or get a few quirks. Its already gimped on how much of a loadout it can carry at least give it really good hit boxes. :)

I would prefer a strong structure quirk. that way, the ST wouldnt need any, and then the associated arms and ST wouldnt get lost at the same time leaving you with total gimp weaponry.

basically, havint the CT a it is would make the St and arms last longer. BUT, in order to leave it how it is, it needs a strong CT structure buff(or armor, or both) so that it can survive the gut soaking dmg it takes now.

That might work well.

Too large? its entire torso (both sides AND center) is the same size as just the Daishis CT alone. The Daishi has it way worse because not only is its CT like three times larger but it cant torso twist at all either.

Its a 95 ton mech. Of course its going to get hit in the CT. Unlike the Daishi the Exec has a large engine and can torso twist much better. You need to torso twist more.

Exec is fine. Please fix mechs that actually need fixing like the Kit Fox.

yes torso twist.

if I can do it in a daishi which has an even bigger CT and pathetic torso twist.

Then you should have no problem in an exec with a much smaller CT and much better torso twist.

Did you unlock double basics yet through game play or GXP? If not, get it to that point than post your observations. Until then, you are working with incomplete information.

All the torso twisting in the world doesn't save the executioner's CT.

I haven't driven mine yet, but so far the ones on the enemy team seem to take a bit more damage to the CT than other places.

there is no doubt the CT are very easy to hit on those things, atleast from my side shooting at them

Eh, I have found it to catch more damage in the CT than other similar assaults (HGN, BNC, Atlas, DWF)

Nah this is more of an issue than torso twisting. If I torso twist on my Daishi at least the side torsos take damage, if I twist on my Executioner, it all hits the CT.

I haven't lost an ST once all day. Something weird is going on.

I lost one once. Through the back though ;)

I think it needs faster and further torso twist.

A large CT isn't a huge detriment if you can roll damage better. There's no point having that huge shield pauldron if it takes an eternity to present it to the enemy as an alternative to gutting you.

I played just one game with the Exe. I didn't die but I finished my match without an arm, with both side an centre torso open. My arm has been the first thing to "fly away".

I do some more tests and edit later.

I've managed to get my sides open a couple times, but death is always through the CT. I do manage to lose my arms though, so long as someone isn't pt blank on me.

Oh I know it is. I twist too and it does the same but that isn't a good video to show it.
