Don't you all get the point? It has no lower arm and hand actuators, it means it will fit two AC20 in its arms. Like a Boomcat, but it will also fit an XL engine, so more speed, armor and ammo than a Boomcat, and the ability to aim lower and higher than that. I feel epic QQ rising upon its release, because people doesn't want to hear that it's all balanced out by its increased engine vulnerability.

This mech I've never seen before and played against is OP. There, I said it. Also, it needs more MGs. :)

Of course the Jägermech doesn't make sense with a Catapract ingame and the current matchmaking of MWO. Only when we getteam tournaments with a maximum weight drop and/or a Dropship modus where you have a maximum weight the underweight mechs like commando, cicada, Jägermech and Awesome will make sense.

Commando + cicada + Awesome don't get play because they aren't very good robots. Catapult or Stalker (for instance) do because they are.

JM6-DD looks looks like the one I would get. its long range fire support and maybe a 1 trick pony. but when it starts letting all that lead fly, watch out!

Really wish it would get 4x Missile hardpoints. With a 15-tube launcher hanging off in the breeze collecting incoming fire, it sucks to use a single SRM in it for it's graphical size.

Looking at the newly released pic.. uhm well, I think we're facing another AWS bulky and easy-to-hit thing.

That JM6-A has huge hitboxes everywhere, the arms will get off easily and most of the times if you want to go ballistics, a XL engine will be required.

The only interesting build I look forward to is a fast boomjager (dual AC 20), but its survivability with the XL engine remains to be seen.. I'll give the A a shot, planning a dual UAC5, 2xSRM4 and 2 (4 if we'll be given quad energy hardpoints) ML.

Exactly. You can fit Sixes on that build ya know..it's just tighter and no Artemis.

That's my point, if they actually gave it 2 missile points per arm to make up for the ginormous hitboxed arms, then it would be all worth while...4xSRM6 + 2xUAC/5...something to make it actually worth all the many shortcomings.

For all those already screaming this mech will be OP because it can fit 2 Gauss or even AC20s in the arms and still run an XL... Something a Catapult can't do with AC20s, why QQ about it? The Jagermech's arms will be its negative and any weapon in the arms is a lot easier to take off than if they were in the side torsos of a Catapult. Both mech can mount the same weapon load outs but each will use those load outs differently.

Yes you can fit srm6 in there, are details on the hardpoints known? As far as I know that thing should have 1 B and 1 M in each arm while having 2+2 energy in each side torso.

From the Image It looks like however to have only 1 energy per side torso so never say never, maybe there are 2 missile hardpoints per arm.. therefore a slightly mad 2xML, 2xSRM4+2xSRM2 (2 tons ammo), 2xUAC5 (5 tons), XL 280 with 13 DHS could be interesting and should run cooler than quad ML (removing the dual SRM2 while replacing it with the mlas).

No matter how Awesome-esque this thing is, it's still going to deal damage at an unbelievably fast rate AND it's going to be relatively speedy. It may not become a staple for MWO, but it will definitely be fun

a welcomed addition in my case. The heavy mech is where I'm at home so any heavy mech is fine with me. And even better if it has ballistics :(

I dont know, I have recently become a HUGE fan of the AC2. This thing can mount 4 and be quick. Thats a lot of dakka at 1500m.
It will come into its own once they start balancing drops. Should be hard capped at 2 lights, 2 meds, 2 heavies, 2 assaults per match.

It will suck if things remain and you can have 6 DDCs and 2 Raven 3Ls on one team.

If you want 4 missile hardpoints, why not buy a Catapult-C4 instead?

because the C4 can't use much of backup weapons while this would allow much more flexibility than a C4. All of this sporting ballistics too
