I don't see how IS mechs can compete with these IIC variants. Damn it gonna be funny when in MWO the Clan frontline mechs are the newly released IIC mechs.

Ok, this is seriously starting to piss me off...
Origins mecs are overpowered off the line, and then PGI AND the community will once again be crying about breaking game balance!
I mean, seriously?!
A hunchback with 2 friggin UAC20's?? As if the 4G wasen't bad enough...
That out-guns most clan mechs right of the bat, and many ASSAULT mechs too.. How can a medium mech have the firepower of an assault and be in a game that is considered "balanced"?
Oh, yeah, cose it's pay to win now... right...
PGI... please... just stop.
P.S.
For the next "mech pack" I guess we can expect a Timberwolf wit 12 large lasers and no negative quirks, a Direwolf with 4 UAC20's, a Mist Linx with ECM, AMS, LRM20 and 4 ERLL, and a Hellbringer with 2xLRM20 and 2xUAC20's...
God... this game has such obvious power creep..
P.P.S.
You guys realise that with the Origin Hunchback, you'r basically releasing a Fafnir, right?
For eg the Jenner vs Jenner IIC...
Jenner advantage will have fire rate and DPS and heat effeciency as advantages as well as a smaller profile and better legs.
Hunchback IIC vs Hunchback?
The IIC will rely less on weapon related quirks and more on structure I think and possibly armour. This able to get more damage out on an instance but not over time as the IS ones are superior at that and with better ammo effeciency too.
Orion IIC vs Orion ?
Rather hard to say besides DPS and heat effeciency and rate of fire as the current orion is relatively bad to even other IS mechs, but it seems the IS orion has better quirks by far and the orion IIC has nothing toooo powerful for a heavy.
Highlander IIC vs Highlander?
the IIC has the lowest engine cap in game and has max 3 jumpjets. IS highlander is better in JJ and speed at least. the IIC also has rather simular hardpoints however will not be supported to heavily by quirks.
Ironically the advantages here are the same in MW4 and such... DPS / Fire rate / Colder...
(main reason "clans' are better in previous games is that they are not exactly... it's people mixing the best of IS and clan tech in the previous games specifically MW4).
So yea. I do not view these as OP at all. look at hard enough and you see huge parts of ballance...
HUnchback IIC having duel UAC 20's? it does have double the hunch thus double the vonerability and to use duel large ballistics it needs a clan XL engine which makes it much more fragile then the IS counterparts due to the double hunch = death.
The IS ones have good quirks and fire rate to peform similarly to these IIC's but without the double weapons and vulnerability.
Clan UAC 20's already scatter there shots thus making it much harder to brawl as most brawlers are qurik to turn and roll damage. unlike the big punch the IS hunchbacks throw.
Look on the forum, most clan players are already ditching the idea of using UAc 20's on the hunchback IIC. I am the only person I have seen who wants to keep it on.
I do not see the errors with ballancing here...in fact I think these battlemechs can be the footnote on ballancing clan tech in general and thus ballance the clan side completely.
The Hunchback IIC only has 54 damage alpha, many mediums+ can do that. double firing however goes to 94 damage alpha with over 30 or 40% jam chance and not fire your weapon for a long time AND with weapon spread...
Hunchback 4SP and the Centurion D can do a simular thing over the same course of time.
Also the 270 range isn't exactly the best
Oh, also lets talk about how this thing has only TWO TONS stock ammo, omg very op much wow.
Rawr firepower isn't the only statistic for damage...
Damage over time, damage per heat... and actually having ammo.
just because I can put 2 ac 20's on a cicada, doesn't make it better then all mechs in game.
Also timberwolf will over heat at 12 large lasers and the direwolf can already do 4 uac 20 but ghost heat is very bad as well as ammo.
if you found the hunchback 4G a problem now then I can't say anything besides this: learn to play.
Note: Hunchback IIC is not basicly a Fafnir.
The Hunchback IIC can not do a nearly 0 heat duel ballistic shot doing 50+ damage at range and this is excluding the duel or tripple large lasers you can probably fit on it as well with all hard points mind or high and with max armour possible in game.
You are releasing a squishy duel ballistic mech that would ever be good for the ballistics only under duel gauss doing a mere 30 will less ammo then a grid iron while being slower and being squishy.
