Maybe make an event so the players can work for a vote ?
Like the Founders got to vote for which map to do.
Anyway, time to copy the files to another folder, I'm a bit of a hoarder.

Clan UAC improvements will be nice, I am really liking UAC5 and UAC10 builds on my Koalas and Jaguars, and the updates will only help. AC10 ammo bonus is very welcome, as the AC5 and AC20 always seemed like better options before.
Can we just make the Clan ACs pinpoint? Remove the burst-fire entirely to make up for their added weight and no double tap ability?
Curious about the Tbolt hero... I have 2 of them basic'ed and was debating whether to go MPL spam for the third. A tanky hero could be interesting, though it is a bit sad there's only energy hard points. At least there's a ton of them. Will be curious to see the placements, if it gets a bunch of high shoulder racks in addition to the traditional 3 MLs in the left torso. If it looks like a mech straight out of Top Gun, can you say "sploosh"?
Lots to digest, but very welcome changes. Combined with visual pass on many mechs, and re-scaling vote in progress, this will be good for the game.

A moment of silence for the loss of our delightful breakdancing Jags, and then a mighty roar of celebration for EVERYTHING ELSE!

I did not mean to indecently expose myself and perform the explicit sexual acts that I did to myself upon reading the patch notes. It certainly was not an act of exhibitionism, rather my uh... excitement was focused solely on the patch notes I observed. I-I don't know what came over me, I was in the heat of the moment you know? I understand that you are probably still going to press full charges, but I want you all to know that deep down, I am sorry.

Glad to see the Timbies and Storm Crows got a bit of a rollback on their nerfs. I never use either of those mechs, don't care for 'em, but I thought the nerf they got was a bit heavy handed when I was an IS pilot. So, I'm sure this will go a ways towards soothing those sore about how heavily they got hit. (even though most players say they hardly noticed a difference in performance)
Glad to see some buffs to the JJs, that was LONG overdue.
OMG, that Tbolt has +12.5% on ALL armor, and ALL structure? O_O Like... every component? That thing is tanky as hell! Is this how they're balancing against the IICs? XD

The Clan weapons are lighter, their lasers do more or the same damage per duration, the lighter weight makes their increased heat very easy to manage, they have auto-XL engines that don't really gimp them that much, etc. etc. etc.
There's no disadvantage to going Clan unless you're already bad at heat management and AC aim unless you just can't live without your SRM boats, and even then there's Artemis...
This is simply stupid, and the PPC changes+jump jet changes are bringing back poptarting. I will be the first person to take advantage of this so that this IDIOTIC, AFFABLE CHANGE IS REVERSED.
I've never been so vehemently against a patch change for this game before, so if you're reading this you have to understand. Hindsight is 20/20 and the game sucked back when the poptarting PPC meta was around, there's no way in hell that I'm living through that BS again. NO WAY.

but why?
c-uac 2 and c-uac 5 have the same dps but c-uac 5 run significantly cooler and dire whale can pack 5 or even 6 of them with no problems
Because a CUAC2 has just one round now. Totes pinpoint. 12 pinpoint damage every .72 seconds - and you can ultra fire in that cooldown to your heart's content, with more room for cooling, ancillary lasers and ammo.

I think you are overreacting, the PPCs are receiving a small velocity buff, please don't even pretend like it's going to be that much of a game changer. PPCs have been underperforming on unquirked chassis for a while now and this buff is a small and safe step towards making them a little more effective, that's all.

But a CUAC2 has (will have) one slug, and CUAC5 has 2. The CUAC2 is 100% front loaded now.
The AC2's are inferior on 'Sphere mechs, but the Clan version isn't that bad. They have 180m more range than the 'Sphere version, and weigh one tonne less.
I'm not saying it will be world ending, but it will be... interesting to test.

Glad I don't CW much now. I can see UAC2 getting some abuse.

I LIKE HAVING MY EBON JAGUAR DOING A DEATH SPIN AFTER BEING KILLED.
IT MADE THE MECH MY FAVORITE OF THE CLANS.....
After playing the Executioner on the field... I had a HUGE REGRET BUYING MECH PACK 3....the only thing that made up for it was the EBON JAGUAR BRAKE DANCE DEATH MOVE.....
BRING IT BACK PGI.....BRING IT BACK.....BRING BACK THE BRAKE DANCE DEATH MOVE FOR THE EBON JAGUAR.
On a side Note ....I still want a 16 WEAPON ATLAS MECH.....we don't need Quirks in Inner Sphere...we just need more GUNS...MORE GUNS....MORE GUNS...and Even MORE GUNS.

Maybe give it a small random chance of happening or something.
