Fair enough. But I'm honestly trying to work out what he wants.
Fix what, exactly?
no offence but you cant be that dense? CW is the single biggest let down in gaming history, only thing that could possibly trump its utter failure would Star Citizen to fail lol
You are part of the problem.
Hence my reference to crap CW attitude.
Your 12yr old nerd raging is awesome sport for CW newcomers.
So. Are you right or wrong to think PGI will keep servers running for 4-6 super units to play on.?
Or will they shut them down when everyone is finally pissed enough to walk from this current train wreck.
Hence my comments about PGI getting new players to CW. Or it'll fail.
And no. This was easily my 100th drop. I did Tukkayid with Steiner and loved it.
But the regular player must feel engaged and like it... or CW will dry up.
So Steffa.... hows your manly comment of "GTFO & STFU" seem so adult... or just nerd ragey..?
Sadly YOU can turn off AllChat only for yourself ... but that doesnt prevent TRAITORS from using it, you only dont see that they are giving your coordinates to the enemy
".."
@ LOADED : If someone is a member of one of these [9 11] ( this TAG is used as a placeholder for these sort of units, as at least for ME these guys behave like terrorists .. and I am pretty sure that no unit is using this offensive TAG ) units, it is clear that he wont notice such behavior as such behavior is "normal" for him !
Feel free to report absolut every from of inappropriated behavior, from calling the position of active teammates to to inappropriated language to personal insults. The vast majority of the community does neither like nor support this kind of behavior.
I personally find i quite stunning that you run into such thing frequently.
I have run into someone raging about their team once in a while, a couple of teamkiller too but that were absulut exceptions and by any means not the norm.
anyhow, screenshot. Time of the day, map and gamemode together with a short describtion of what happened to
moderation@mwomercs.com.
where? when? i spent a lot of time on CW and i hardly ever see inappropriate behavior.
I saw some of it back in December/January.

This, your 11th post, sure was a doozy.
I get the impression that you're not happy with CW matches.
But I'm not entirely sure why.
Something about Clans, cheese builds, wanting to be in an all-beating team, not enough, or maybe too many, Clan tags...?

With that post, we have now seen everything to blame, except the image in the mirror, for bad experiences in game.
Forum Warrior? Does not even read like he is even a MechWarrior.
Neither do you sound like one.
What we are seeing here is close to the New Player Experience.
Appears no one looked at his profile, member since 15-December 2014, about 7 months of his cadet matches, some time in the PUG queue and some time in CW.
Folks, this is what the New Player Experience is like in MWO. Not everyone who gets into an online game comes to the Forums, this is known by smart gamers with experience.
New MWO Player.
Install game.
Play, login.
Tutorials, one for movement and....and....and....none explaining how to shoot, differences between weapons, Mechs, Clans vs IS, a buncha other stuff.
No explanation how to get into a match, different match types, how to choose the mode you want.
No big warning sign on CW saying, "Hardcore Team Mode, best played if on a Team, here is how to do that."
Lotsa other games out there have much better in game presentations that do not leave someone feeling lost as this one does.
Made worse by Clan Precious Little Snowflake wanting PGI to give attention to HIS issues over everyone else. "Moar Maps!" "Moar Mechs!" "Moar Buffs so I can kill faster like Call of Duty!"
You can point fingers at certain things in game, some of your complaints may be valid but nothing takes away from the TRUTH that this game is not designed well in helping New Players get their bearings enough to know some basics. L2P doesn't work when there is little to tell them those basics.
Sadly YOU can turn off AllChat only for yourself ... but that doesnt prevent TRAITORS from using it, you only dont see that they are giving your coordinates to the enemy
PS: Because of the "name and shame" policy it is not possible to write names or TAGs of units as a example here ... or the post, or maybe even the entire topic, will get deleted.

And credibility lost.

Hope everyone is 'enjoying' their hawdfriggencore mode.
I took a ton of crap from Sandpit warning about CW sucking and it would be a ghost town unless it was a little friendlier to pugs. I notice he quit a long time ago, hilarious.
CW sucks for pugs, and since that's most of the player base, if anyone would like CW to NOT suck (i.e. more players), it needs to be friendlier to pugs, and NOT just when there's an event bribing us to play.
Because there is no ELO in CW, you are rarely going to get an extremely balanced match. I have played many many games and only remember a handful that came down to the last few mechs. That is the problem you are seeing I think Lord Squire. It's not that mechs are unbalanced it's that the people who are driving the mechs are unbalanced when loaded up against each other. I am sorry to hear that you are giving up on CW but I understand the frustration. Hope you take a rest and come back to it when you feel better. FYI, there are some teams that don't require anything, you can just jump on, hook up with a group and start playing. May be worth looking into as CW gets much better when you are on a team.

Idiots like them is why I DONT PUG in CW Pat. If I was playing in CW, I would rather work with a group of people like KCOM or 228 or JFP if they need players and play as a team.
Lets put is this way. PUGGING does NOT WIN overall. You PUG in CW, you WILL pay the price. THERE WILL BE NO ELO SYSTEM in CW NOR 10v12 ********. GET OVER IT. Lore THIS Lore THAT. WGAF!
@MEX. [Redacted] reason I don't play with CSJ anymore. 70% of that faction is inactive and aren't willing to play. Not to mention you had to get help from outside units just to take planets. Until the CSJ faction can get that boot out of its ass, I am not helping them.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. Diablo 3 is the biggest let down in gaming history as far as I am concerned, although I think Star Citizen is going to take that title in the near future.
CW for you battletech purists may be fun but as one who doesn't give a rats bass about "THE LORE" it is boring, unbalanced and the outcome predetermined. Don't bother suggesting that I don't play it, because I have already stopped playing CW. I am sure I won't be the last. If this mode, IS vs Clan, is where they want to take it for esports, lol, who the hell is going to play on the IS side? I mean, the ending and every phase of the game is mapped out, the implementation of new mechs and equipment is set to a timeline, and the timeline sync is controlled by PGI. If they want to skip a few years they can. They'll do it to balance the game. If you think about it, that's hilarious.
regardless of what you think of the points the OP makes in his post, the very low numbers that play CW are hard to refute.
Well, as all the try-hards keep telling us, the "real problem" is that not enough people want to devote a large chunk of their lives to building meta-cheese builds and clubbing seals to "get gud." You know, because that's "fun" - or so I'm told...
As I've heard far too many times with regard to CW - "it's Community WARFARE - it's not supposed to be fun!"
Ok, sure. Then, let's all act confused when people are leaving the game mode that isn't fun... derp!

Yeah, except as IS we have tech that shouldn't exist for another 30 or so years, and there are quirks that help the old mechs be as competitive as the newer ones. So the outcome isn't determined, and nothing is really set in stone.
