Not quite, PGI can make tons of money off of Word of Blake mechs and Clan totem mechs also, not to mention Solaris "customizations".

The part in bold and underline is the biggest problem I have with this arrangement.

Dream all you want but that pack has way to much fluff to be financially viable. So a dream it will remain.
Pick four mechs.. add another as a big ticket reward (the MAD i´d guess) and keep to the normal formula of fluff items and you might have something going.
But hey,, it is your dream so dream all you want. =)

It wouldn't take any modification - they'd just need to build a standard 'Mech, then set the torso twist limits to 0.001 degrees (that is, one one-thousandth of one degree) in either direction.
It's be even easier than what it took them to work out the 360-degree rotation for the UrbanMech.

True, but I remember them saying somewhere that it would take too much work to do (plus it would not make them any additional money like the Urbanmech pack did). In TT mechs without torsos could not torso twist and could only change the direction of the torso while moving. Torso-less mechs could still move their arms and any turret mounted weapons (the Locust's ML was on a turret) independently though.

Wrong, HG only sold a license to Sony. If they'd completely sold the rights off, we would have heard something to that affect, which would mean we could get all the Macross anime over here in the states with little to no trouble.

I don't Twitter, as I told people on Facebook, I have enough social media to do and the most I would say is, "Chirp, *****, chirp," and that's it. I don't need 'followers' I am not starting a religion.
As much as I am a BT nostalgia fan, I do have to be honest in what I expect if more Unseen were put in game.
Stinger / Wasp - slower than most existing MWO Lights, engine cap would still make them slower, even if Firestarter/Cheetah sized or somewhere between that and Spiders, they would be DOA in playability.
Valkyrie - suffers the same speed problem but might be excused as a 30 tonner with better weapons than a Spider.
Phoenix Hawk - it would be bigger than a Blackjack with roughly the same hardpoints, BJ is better.
Scorpion - no Quads in game currently, not even sure if PGI is looking at Quads.
Rifleman - lighter Jager, still easy to hit making XL use rough. Might be useful if similar to Jager model but smaller thus better than Dragon / Quickdraw.
Crusader - I hate to do this to a Mech I really liked but it was as tall as a Hopper and is there a need for another 65 ton LRM focused Mech.
Archer - 70 ton Catapult.
Warhammer - would be worth something if it was not so bulky, PGI already had polls about changing Mech size.
Marauder - picture a torso and legs between Catapult and Stalker size with arms and a RT gun (art keeps putting it center that is wrong) results in a 75 ton target that dies easier than a Stalker.
Goliath - See Scorpion.
Longbow - 85 tons of Catapult A1.
Marauder II - See Marauder then make bigger to fit 100 tons. Bigger than a King Crab.
Closest to worthwhile ones for a pack would be Valkyrie, Rifleman, Longbow unless PGI can do Quads. With only 2 Mediums but more in other weights, they need a different release method than packs unless PGI did what I suggested, redid PP tires into a new system with new variants then they could move the Griffin and Wolverine as Mediums into a new set of releases.

I'm not kidding - I want a gold Warhammer. Possibly a Marauder too. I would pay extra for a 'pimp-walk' cockpit item that made the mech pimp walk. I'm 100% serious.
PGI, you get me mechs that look like what Catalyst is doing with the Unseen and I'll drop $500 on a gold Warhammer (or Marauder, maybe one of each cuz that's how I roll) to pick up an 8 mech (24 total variants a la Clan Wave 1) and I'll buy that so fast he won't have time to tweet "WTF?"
I can't be the only old school BT fan here who'd fill the cup Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back style to get proper Unseen mechs. Make it happen.

Well, between the cover art for the Warhammer, and that gorgeous miniature prototype, my hopes are increasing here.
As for the Marauder, we only got a back/side view on that cover art. Give it a couple weeks to a month and we'll see more of the Marauder and all the remaining unseen.

End of the day it's irrelevant. If Catalyst sacked up and sorted the issue to let us back to the glory of those mechs we need to carpe the holy living **** out of that diem and GET THOSE PRETTIES IN MY GAME.
