Radar Dep and seismic are easily the two most important mech modules we've got, and you should always take one or the other if you can't have both and are not a LRM mech yourself. If you've got ECM, it's probably safe to run without Dep, but seriously, this module is too awesome not to have.

Basically, what I'm saying (and you are saying) is that LRM's are so easy to use that there are no real player skill that you can have to defeat them but you have to resort to gamey stuff like unlocking tech and using knowledge of how the stupidly small maps are set up.... wow...

Ok so if they do nerf it into the ground then why don't they incorporate the C3 targeting computers as well.
1.5 Tons of ECm is doing the equivalent to 7 tons of gear.
The targeting system is doing almost the same but I don't see many complaints about that. You want to be able to target your partners lock, bring the bloody gear then.
-.- I just know you LRM boaters will hate having to bring your own stuff but you're more than happy to whine about the counter.

clans have target sharing for free, do you really want that in mwo that spheroid mechs need c3

The last few days I have been testing a new load out for my TW I call the triple Threat
You see they nerfed the TWs lasers so that forces me to find a different load out they also added
Another JJ to the TW-S so at one point I was packing 5 JJs' on my TW
This has forced me to go to LRMs, the last couple of weeks I been saying to myself "man do these LRMs suck"
To me LRMs are not OP but then again I don’t have a LRM boat I have a LRM Mech
You know you have run into a real LRM boat because you will be dead or very badly damaged
I wish I did not have to go to LRMs but hey that’s the game
If you ask for something for your Mech I don’t have a problem with that more power to you
But if you recommend you take my weapons away well I have a problem with that

Just to clear up the C3 issue.
Yes, LRMs are gamey, but to be fair, once you get clear of the LRM paddling pool, the game gets pretty scary with all the Pinpoint damage getting flung around. It's like playing Sniper Matches in Ghost Recon.

Currently I'm getting pretty annoyed when I'm killed by LRM's because I know that no real skill went into getting that kill.
When I'm in a shooting duel and the other guy clearly avoids damage better and aims better and I get killed I can respect that.

If I want to not get missile locks due to quintuple redundant ecm, and then have 30% of the missiles miss their target even if it's standing still, then I bring LRMs. Also, when I want to spread damage over every component of an enemy, LRMs are my go to weapon.
LRMs take judgment of where to be and when to shoot rather than hand-eye skill in targeting.
