[Screaming, cracking of bones]

By His Mercy... I'm not really sure what's going on. I feel different. My flesh is soaked in a cold sweat. I can't stop shaking. My very soul feels colder... fatter. I feel myself growing more distant from Dear Coordinator. It's as though His Eternal Light is fading from the world and being replaced with something... different. Something I can't identify, but I know it uses LRMs. I am afraid. Dear Coordinator, for the first time, I am afraid.

...Anyone else really want to go for a burger? Also can I get some advice on building my LRM Awesome?

Hello, lrm awesome, well the advice would be not to rely too much on lrm's. It's ammo dependend, which is not ideal, and further its in non group coordinated drops a bad idea. I saw a premade of 10 once using them in the battle for tukkayid event - to a devasting level (real epic pure lrm spam). But it requires coordination, taging narcing and holding locks. which PUG CW does not offer.

LRM's are actually very effective, I'v been consistently doing 400+ damage during the European Takeover with a 2x LRM15 6xCERML Timberwolf, with most of the damage comming from my LRM's.

There's always that ONE guy who is not in ECM cover, and the pending ECM nerf will only reinforce that. Also, LRM's are great for indirect fire, fireing from behind cover and in avkward angles.

Also, even if the target has ECM, you can still target it (a bit harder though), unless its in 180 meters, where you can use LRM's anyway. Using targeting computers and modules can help alot also..

Just make shure you always have a few lasers or supplimentary short range weapons to deal with lights witch WILL swarm you..

A great mech to use in this fashion is the hellbringer, since it can counter that pesky ECM...

I'm shure there are IS equvalents that can do all of that, and more, so choose wisely.

See what you did Scoops?`Another useless "Lurmz are useful" discussion :D

Just no....
Don't get me wrong but in the higher Elo the enemies will just Gauss and Vomit the **** out of your team while you and some other lurmers (there are always more) stand far behind and crying for locks.
Plus the fact that you don't get any better in this game when you are using lurmz or streaks

Yes, grab a Raven with Narc by the legs and bring it to the battlefield. When you suspect the enemies are hiding behind a hill, throw the Raven on them and them start lurming hard. When the Raven dies - or run - pick up a big adamant umbrella and use it to protect your center torso, then keep raining until them all fall.
If they get too close, call names and punch their faces.

Satisfaction guaranteed or your money refunded.

Here.

AWS-8R

4 ALRM 15s, 2MLs, TAG, lots of ammo. Does run an XL, which is usually death for an Awesome, but but so is being really slow: pick your poison.
