The ping value and strength distributions are as follows:
Green status: 1-100 ping
Yellow status: 101-200 ping
Red status: 201+ ping

I actually hope we will see a fixed version of the collision system in the future, liked the sparks and sounds when I was stumbling through buildings. Made me rethink my driving abilities.

Arrrrmmm.... Some how feel this was not a wise decision on PGI's part if they wanted people to try Oceanic......
Also.... Thinking ping is an excuse....
Well... Fact is SEA people can carry matches at >300ms... in Euro servers.

It's mostly that Oceanic can be bad for ping for most US/EU players and they do not want the initial experience of ignorant newbs to get that awesome 400 ping when they first log in.

The other side effect is Less players for Oceanic... This might be something that can doom it to failure.
Oh well.. PGI's decision.... Just don't feel it is a smart one... If people don't like it, they can OPT out... Now by default... They won't even know....
Also this kinda contradicts all they comments that HSR game the game playable up to 400ms...

On a note, although I'm glad that the Oceanic region would get a server, which would be beneficial to the steam release, I think I'll mostly stick with the NA server. Having my ping drop so drastically from 250ms would mean I would need to re-learn how to shoot.

only the last is a valid reason though
it might be a gas giant of which the planet of the river city was a satellite
actually the giant star on that new cw map is way worse in the astronomical sense, any blue star being so close would evaporate the planet, and when everybody calls it star it's kind of hard to pretend it's another gas giant, you know

But you know, wouldn't you think that they could come up with most of the feedback we give, if they actually play their own game for a long time?.... i mean for fun... not for testing.

There was a time when there was no HSR, i remember slapping ac20 rounds into running lights while having 320ms ping for more than a year.
I know why i'm keeping EU and oceanic off.... I've seen the worst.!

They will know. When they first log in it will show that Oceanic is unchecked.
