Really annoying trying to do the Oceanic challenge when 4 out of 10 games you get disconnected, can't get back in, and even your progress on that game doesn't count!

No "Our metrics must be wrong, we are still checking".
No "Sorry for this guys, we will make it up to you somehow".
No explanation as to what may be the cause.
Colour me paranoid, but if I did not know any better I would be led to believe that PGI is not really serious about keeping a regular OC server, just get everyone mad then they can justify taking it down.
After all, us poor saps who have had to play on the NA server all these years with >280 ms ping will probably just go quietly back to the way things used to be quineg?
Well my answer to this will be a resounding vote with my Wallet, because right now my premium time is being wasted on a large number of disconnects. In short I am not getting value for money. Recognition of the problem and not some half-baked "Swallow this" excuse would at least go some way in assuaging the OC player anger, yet alone all of those from other regions who were keen to complete the OC challenge.
It would seem that PGI has hired some ex IGP PR types....

This is why, when you operate a game 24/7 you need support/techs that work more than M-F 9-5. Problems occur outside of a standard work week, PGI needs 24/7 support staff if it wants to offer (and grow) a 24/7 game (specially when it runs most events outside of the typical M-F 9-5 work week).

I'm also seeing increased packet loss.
I don't think these servers can handle the numbers.

So it would seem either the servers were brought down, or the connection to the entire region suffered a catastrophic error that prevented reconnection. Either way, an update from PGI is warranted.
