Hunchback Grid Iron + 4P Are Now Useless

Your torso will bust open 100%. Only good games I managed to get are those that after hyper manouvering I manage to protect my toro and spread arround the dmg a little bit more, a tactic that was the only way to play those hunchbacks anyway (specially 4P). But I say again, every mid skill player and higher will never even bother hitting you anywhere else... back + front side torso = gg.
I won't even bother about lights getting on your back unnoticed because that was always a desaster

Most mechs have that sweet spot you want to take out and the hunch on the huncy is that said sweet spot.
As a medium mech, you should be around someone else that should be able to help you out.

Yes they do, I whould prefer to see them dialed down a litlte bit in favor of at least some extra armor on that torso. I don't know I used to do amazing with them now they seem like a really bad pick, specially for competitive games.

All mechs that have that sweetshop are bad for competitive play, I personally find Hunchback to be overly vulnerable to that.
Also I know about Seismic, been using it 2 years now. Why eveyrone assumes that whoever doesnt have 1500+ posts in the forums is a noob...
I never said lights sneaking up on u are a "problem". Thats the thing, they dont even need to sneak up, just take a decent aim, 2 rotation of their small lasers in the front then ur busted. In the same time you can't do anything about them.

So you're saying the Hellbringer, wolverine, stalker, thunderbolts and all the lights are bad for competitve play? Okay.

'Cause you complain you got snuck up from behind. A seismic module should give you plenty enough warning unless you are tunnel visioned on your reticule and not keeping an eye on your mini-map

Then you might want to stay with your team and no go lone wolf. You're a hunchy, you're not a tanky mech nor are you a light hunter. You're the backup to whatever is heavier than you. You want to be around people that will dissuade any light from coming near you. If you get caught out alone than I'm sorry, your positioning was not good.

Because quirks (and cXL) ACH is actually more durable in most regards.
It is overquirked, no doubt. It's also very fun.
Not quite sure what the OP is going on about. Lights have always done that; or tried to at any rate.

GI is one of the best IS medium mechs in game because of this quirk madness. With the armor quirk for it's RT it is armor wise at the same level as an 75 ton heavy.
ACH will be nerfed after all money is milked out of it and it is available for Cbill. See TBR.

...which are only good as long as you are not being fired at.
The right torso is really vulnerable and once the gauss goes boom the mech is either worthless or in case of an XL destroyed. My Adder feels tougher than the GI.
The GI has the problem that he needs uptime on a target which means it is torso time.

I won't even dare to think about XL in a Hunchy anymore...

Highly debatable.
It is tho arguably the best gauss platform in the game.
Yes It's pretty good if u want a medium sniper, thats about the only use u can put him into since if u play him right u wont have to brawl with any mech, however no JJ in a sniper isn't the best case. I whould prefer a Cata 3D for the same job. Thats another thing quirks are fine but they ultimately make only 1 build viable. I used to be able to do many things with my GI.

The Cata 3D is practically dead. Escpacially as a jump sniper. Reason: jump jet elevation is too slow. Exposure time too long.
One build that is usuable is the fate of many IS mechs. If you want flexibility, play clans.
