This thread is kind of pointless because solos are the only thing keeping CW limping along.

Yeah CW shouldn't allow trial mechs and you probably should have a min number of matches before is available but until PUGs learn team work they will get stomped every time.
Pure and simple truth.

There are 18 pages, and literally every user in the game, that prove you are using the word wrong, and really foggy on the meaning of "Fact"

Having CW with teams? Not the problem. Having CW with no niche for small groups/soloers? Problem. Quite simply, when CW depends on the most difficult things- organized, large groups - for 100% of it's content...it doesn't function well at all.
When CW rewards faction-hopping instead of loyalty and stuffing everyone into one faction for maximum sealclubbing of baby newbs, CW fails.
It's not like we haven't gone over that here *checks sig* since CW 1.0 and the obvious flaws were pointed out, right?

I've been on these forums for about 2 + years. This might be the first time ever, that I've considered PMing the mods, asking them to K-Town a thread. It's the second time I've wished a thread gets K-Towned.

And your win % for games against teams with 8+ players from the same unit? Anyone can put up damage...how do your 'rainbow drops' fare against real TEAMS? You win the matches 9 out of 10, 6 out of 10, 3 out of 10 times?
If any one can put out damage how come MS has little starts for people who get different damage labels... if so easy why single people out...Oh yes it is sooo hard to beat the mighty ms... lol... I win way more than I lose, but I will be honest I usually have at least a group of 3 or 4 that are in my drop, not on the same teamspeak server, but in the same drop, you can do that if you know how to use the que. To be honest I really don't pay that much attention to wins and losses when I am solo dropping, I foucst more on working with the team and getting my kills and damage, I wish I tracked all my states because I would say my overall average is probably 1500+. I have more 2000 damage games than I count and a few 3000 damage games...
Your arrogance is laughable... one of the reasons I have never choose to join up with MS even though I have lots of friends in the MS conglomeration... is the overall arrogance some of its members show.

It doesn't but what other indicator would you like, it certainly better than say I am a great team player but only get 400 damage in a CW Match. Just showing I am not sloach and help what ever group of people I play with.
edit - to be clear you will not find a thread in here by me asking to change anything about CW for solo players.

The best indicator of if a group played as a team...did you and your teammates win the match??? Teamwork=Victory and being able to consistently beat anyone and everyone put before your group is the only real indication of if a group of pilots played as a team.
It is easy for some 'crack shot' who stood in the far back in an assault mech and snipped / LRMed his way to high damage number, but never presented with his teammates, was never 'on the line', and didn't get touched (still @ 100% health) when all of his teammates are touching down in their second / third / fourth mechs.
Had that assault been on the line with their teammates each time they pushed and tanked damage while putting out damage victory would have been easy, but instead they went for the 'high numbers' all back of the bus style and left their teammates out to dry resulting in a loss for everyone involved.
So you put up 4.5K in a loss, congratulations you still lost. Damage is no indication what so ever of teamwork.

Thats not what the thread is about however.
I agree I just felt it was worth pointed out, I think CW is the deepend and the focus should be on teams and units, but I don't have one right now so I enjoy still be able to participate and get rewards.

I said early on when I join this ******* child of a thread, that yes when I play my team wins far more often then they lose. Damage and kills are a indicator of effectiveness, if I see a play put up 2000 damage and 8 or 9 kills and we win I would say that player help us win, an player that barely breaks 400 damage, lost all his mech's and got maybe 1 kill really did not ho a whole lot to help the team win. So simply saying your team won so you are a good teammate is making it far to simple. (and so is the opposite aka just damage)

You asked if there was a better indication of teamwork than the final damage numbers, all I did was answer your question. How you responded is why I have only made less than a dozen posts, and why this will likely be the very last post I will make on these forums.

Pugs get stomped in cw because they play like victims. They won't push, won't play aggressive and everyone is trying to be the last guy to die. I beat teams with pugs every single day. No exception. My pugging success is a tad over 50%. You provide a little direction and keep plans simple and know the tricks for leveraging pugs vs groups.
Some people though won't accept the risk of trying to win against a group and seem to feel like if they give up before it starts they won't feel as bad if they lose. Reality is losing a hard fought 36 to 48 is better than 16 to 48 stomp.
Success in cw is knowing when to be aggressive and take risks/sell yourself for more than you're worth, setting your team up for success on the next wave.
A stomp is rarely the product of the other team. It's the product of your own poor choices.

In that time I have probably 5 or 6 wins, almost every match is a loss
Mostly against 8 to 12 man teams
And I say teams I mean on coms
I was mostly IS but when I saw a few clan forces get way down on planets I jumped to the Clan side
CSJ was pretty good usually after I got roll stomped the first match of the day I could jump on their server and team up with some other players
Clan Ghost Bear has been a nightmare
No one talks, very little communications almost no coordination
So taking this thread to the next logical progression
I disconnected for the second time since CW started because some of the players had their coms turned
Off
If those guys want to solo they don’t need me
I could be saying hey there is a UAV up but they would never hear it
