Yes, let's continue to pretend that 'solo' has some magical meaning in MWO other than the text book definition of the word. Ater all, we wouldn't want players to take personal responsibility for f'in over the 23 other people in their drop because they can't or won't play as a part of a team with their teammates...it would break the game. LOL
It's attitudes like this that are absolutely killing this game and especially CW. Just because someone isn't part of a unit does not mean they aren't attempting to work with the team that they drop with in order to win. I don't know why you continue to push your agenda, because it's making you look worse with each post.
Ideally, solo players should be encouraged to A: Drop CW, therefore making match find times near instant, B: Work as a team, and C: Use VOIP and text chat to communicate with them. You're missing the "Community" part of CW. We need drop in and play queues to make the matches drop immediately. Solo players and small groups are the vast majority and no one wants to wait around all night for a game.

Because anyone who wasnt able to find a unit within the last 3 years is not likely to form up with 12 random people in 70 secounds ..

False.
I have been here for three years. I have not been part of a unit. Yet I am a team player.
Now I know what you are thinking: "Maybe you have never been asked to be part of a unit because you suck so much."
Wrong.
I have been asked. I just refused the invites.

You do know what not likely means right? It doesn't mean every single solo player fits the description. You being the exception (taking your word for it) has no baring on his arguement.

CW is pretty mcuh BF2142's Camp Gibraltar.....narrow alleys of fire and the enemy has to come up to get a single point that everyone knows.....
CW is a very boring game mode if your on attack, might be fun on defense cuz atleast then you get to play the game and not spend all your time looking at the respawn screen.

Rabbi, your post is a great example of what the last 17 ish pages have been about. OP not understanding what the word "Solo" means in MWO (somewhere in this sea of yelling, Armando explains that he is actually talking about Rambos, you know, morons, the ones that just run off on their own, and not work with their team)

Both sides take all this way too much seriously. Games are created for FUN. But ppl always manage bring real life society relations with them, and split community in separate fractions, create far-retched arguments and place them into basis of their pillars of personal “oneness”.
Oh come on! Take it easy! All here for having fun. Old battletech fans, and “giant robot pew pew” lovers, nostalgic warriors, rambos, teammates, ninjas, disciplined soldiers, hotheads, and many many others. Stop separating players on classes ,and pretend being better than others.
Both sides arguments makes me smile.
From one side “pro players” so teamplay, standing altogether in one spot shooting all the same target all at once through the tunnels of super wide tactical maps, walk/stop on command, wow so skill, so much pro.
From other side “solo players” complaining on maximum level of stomping, death in seconds under massive premade fire.
Both are good, and both are bad in different gameplay situations. We all saw unit tag players unable to deal damage above 150 in solo queue, and solo players that suck really bad in CW.
Make solo player listen the commander, tell them what mechs to take and do what has been ordered - you get unit gameplay even without similar unit tags. Separate Unit “pros” and not all of them will be able to deal even with middle range players. So difference only in cooperation and that’s it.
No matter how hard you blame other player in CW problems – CW can’t exist without any of unit and solo players.

Reading a little of the responses in a month-old thread with 28 pages of response is probably a good idea - if only to avoid embarrassment.

You base this on your own definition of teamplay?
Are you saying I do not know how to work with others?
There is more to being a team player than being in a [Unit]. (But for some one who thinks [Unit]s are all that matter, I am sure you may never understand.)

You are completely missing the point.
The OP is saying solo-minded players who just want to Rambo and to their own thing, NOT working with the team they are on, do not belong in CW. Its simple, if you drop in CW, JUST GROUP UP with your team at the very list, and when you die, don't stream in and get yourself killed, wait until the team forms up again. It is not complicated but makes a world of difference.
Don't think anyone cares if you are in a unit. Just that you work with the team and not do stupid stuff.

Yeah that goes without saying but reading the title, it looks like he's saying anyone not in a large or 12 man unit group is wasting his time in CW. I would love to be able to just hit drop and be instantly in CW, whether my unit has a group playing or not.
CW is unplayable for me because: A: My unit TS is pretty much dead most times, B: We never have enough on to play CW or if we do, not many have the time or inclination to do so, or C: If by some miracle, we have people doing CW, if you don't get in on the group before they drop into a lobby you could wait an hour or more to join them once their queue and match are done.

They also need to combine all the gamemodes into one big CW queue to reduce the waiting time.

an fact that 400 dmg with 4 mechs arE not enough to compete in any way in community warfare.

Since we all know that 12 mans are less then 1% of the CW drops your attempt to further this lie is amazing.
99% of the CW drops are mid size GROUPS and SOLO.
Your boogeymen does not exist and your failing attempts to blame 12 mans when facts state otherwise is very telling.
