OK so Elo has been replaced. So how is match making now? Is it better or worse or the same?

Lost five in a row. Four of the five were 12 - 1/12 - 3 stomps. But that's typically the result during day playing, and my utter lack of playing for the last eight months.

i see the same players i saw before. D3lirium, other imo good players.
the bug i found, was the match score of 638. 936 damage, 4 kills 8 assists, in a cheetah.

Only did 2 drops, then time for bed... but two wins, 12-4 and 12-1 seeing the same people as usual.

Match score is calculated completely different since the patch. The good thing? There's a breakdown of all the parts that make up your match score on the player stats report.

AFAICT, the match maker still puts people of wildly different skill levels together.

just had 4 games in a row which were 12 - 0 in the public queue, so would say its the same as before lol
Only now i get teams who don't move ? im wondering if PGI have added bots to the teams who just stand in 1 place and anchor turn as a group lol

Wait, if they changed the way match score was calculated, and use match score to determine PSR, then wouldn't everyone have a crap PSR because match scores were much lower prior to the patch? Or did they adjust for that.

Team Damage is now subtracted from your Match Score, not just Team Kills. Match Scores now now go up into the hundreds. Obviously new equations are being used.

Since they changed the match score variables so much, I'm doubting the "backwards compatibility" of previous matches they used to inject us into tiers.

There will be growing pains, plus most people likely haven't patched yet.

still no stomps so far. 5 matches... like 6-12, 12-8, 12-6, 12-7, 4-12. same people as before. too early on to say a word anyway

I kinda like how the new match scores look, it's easier to tell just how much or how little was accomplished in a match.
