I call either a robotic ammo delivery drone, or perhapse a robotic rover-like surveyor.

I'm preety shure the front wheels are meant to turn, and its definately some sort of 3050 service vehicle..

Don't think to much about it..

Altho, I have to say, this whole thread is missing the point... Atlas on top of a building... HOW?

look at this

b-but how it is steered, you just proved it cannot exist

Wheels are still behind the pivot point.

If, and that's an if there is some y-bar attachment to this thing, it's not really obvious where it fits in, but yes, you could force fit a solution (though with the wheel arrangement it has, it would not work well at all); however, it would still be a terrible solution compared to a modern tractor trailer setup.

Also, the picture you posted is unclear as to whether both axles are fixed perpendicular to the path of travel, (edit - now I can see it's a conventional steer trailer - the front axle is on a rotatable base). Now, fix the front axle to the frame, and then add more fixed axles on it and throw up a video of it in action. I'd be excited to see this masterful engineering at work.

Four wheel steer trailers often have a steerable front axle, as shown here:
http://www.cartsandt...our_Wheel_Steer

Otherwise, they really wouldn't work the way you want them to.

It could turn just fine, with hydraulic driven wheels you'd just have to slow or put one set into reverse and the other set going forward and it would be able to turn in place.

As to its purpose, heavy transport. Could be for hauling out salvage from the battlefield.

The object is unrelatable to anything in real life. No windows, no doors, no indication of what it actually does. Just headlights and a wheel that do not steer except straight

Its function is ambiguous, Its scale is ambiguous and it just looks straight up terrible. Theres no relatable queues, the fidelity is bad. They put it everywhere in the tutorial and it just muddies up an otherwise quality product

WOW, I think its cool. I'm more concerned with the obvious screw up with the architecture, those windows and doors, entry ways, more that HALF dont pass code.
And, the ONE thing I've learned about government, they dont undo code...if anything by the year 3050, that thing is probably what carries the code book from job to job.

I'm not totally sure what it is, just that a Hatchetman would probably make it better.

Who said it has no steering? I see as much steering capabilities on this as on the other vehicles.

Someone parked his vehicle right in front of that door, that seems to be more an issue. Someone give him a ticket please.

It just blows my mind, the thing doesnt look like it can do anything besides drive in a straight line, theres no way the front wheels can steer the vehicle

Lol, havent you seen a tank? THey dont turn by thier front drive wheels either. This thing would prolly turn in mcuh the same manner. One side would stop turning and the other side would keep turning.

I'm not looking to relate to some random "future tech" vehicle. Luckily for you, the art team is usually on top of their ****, so maybe someone will feel motivated to turn your yellow tractor drone into a Giant ******* Wall-E, I don't know. But if there was anything I would find unrelatable, it would be the harsh gaming reality of MWO existing on the edge of FPS and wanna-be tactical action game, or the fact that 20kph feels like 5 kph in everything except a light. Stuff that actually need to be fixed and would improve the game.

Looks like a dolly of some kind. What it's doing parked among all of the "regular" vehicles, I cannot begin to guess.

Can someone post a shot of this guy next to that weird loader thing on top of the deck in Crimson Strait? I believe it is a similar color with some kind of arm or something, I am not able to login to the game right now but I suspect these two vehicles have something in common...

Given his follow up posts? He doesn't seem to be joking, he's truly offended by some vehicles that have zero to do with gameplay not living up to his standards. I may have been harsh sure, but people like this and the entitlement/politically correct subset, truly are a cancer on society.
