Cheetah-A has lost the 15 leg structure, and replaced with 0.2 Accel to each leg. 40% Accel boost?


The CHARLIE (you know, the P2W one) now has the +14 to each leg. There doesn't seem to be any heat quirks.

It's hard to read these files, but so far I see some sensor quirks on the Adder and no weapon quirks...

What the ****?

The Adder was literally built as a combat light in the lore/fluff.

Interesting, so they whacked it, just to re-arrange it. Strange.

Cauldron Born apparently has a few modest agility and structure quirks...okay then.

EDIT: Wait, I see one negative value for torso yaw speed.

PGI said mechs would lose quirks or not. Perhaps alot of mech lost their quirks?

This must be only a partial copy...I don't see a SINGLE weapon quirk in every mech I've look into.

So far I haven't found ANY weapon quirks, so I think that those are now extinct. Yaw for every single mech in the game having sensor quirks and a few structure quirks! So unique, much differentiation, wow.

I think as expected? Russ stated he wanted to go back more to the roots. Sean Lang said most of the rediculous quirks would be gone.

It's become increasingly obvious that PGI, and even the most hardcore MWO players, don't give two sh*ts about this line of reasoning. I personally do care about being loyal to mechs' original purpose in lore. But neither PGI nor most fans do anymore.

A lot of people like to posture and talk about how lore is super important to them... and they're still consistently playing with the most meta builds available, with no regard for lore at all. If people could run 8xMPL and an XL400 engine on the Mauler, most players wouldn't hesitate to turn that venerable long range support mech into a fast brawler. They'd do it at the drop of a dime.
