WTB: Someone at PGI capable of balancing their way out of a wet paper bag. The Nerfinator is stuck in there, and he's destroying the game.

I don't expect anyone to care, and no, I can't give you my stuff... but since that "stuff" will no doubt change into something else even less useful in 6 months after the next Unbalancing, you probably wouldn't want it anyway.
This "requirkening" is an embarrassment, and unless it was caused by corrupt data or somebody gone insane, there's no excuse for it. Seriously:
- Debuffing weak mechs, like lights and Atlases, while giving buffs to meta-mechs like Timberwolves and Direwolves?! Are they insane?!
- Removing all weapon quirks of note, so that the IS has no nope of competing with the Clans.
- Insane buffs and debuffs that are in no way consistent across chassis or which make any sense at all. What is this - Spreadsheet Warrior Online?!
I wonder how close the Steam release is... maybe that'll "fix" everything... Seriously, guys - this is not funny anymore. The game has one core problem - pinpoint damage - which above all else defines which mechs and weapons are good. Can your mech boat weapons (on high mounts) that deal pinpoint damage and can your mech handle being hit with pinpoint damage. Fix that - small cone of fire (like on machine guns or jumping mechs) - and you don't need to even consider a billion field spreadsheet written by somebody who's mind has been touched by an Elder God.

I'm sure that this isn't the end of the road; it's the beginning. Those of you on the PTS are beta-testing. I've done a lot of beta testing for simulation games, and what you see in public beta is never the final form. Keep a positive attitude and objectively report the problems. All the fixes we want may not happen but they will be taken into account, I'm sure; I see no reason to believe that PGI won't respond the same way other companies like 1C do to their public testers.

Are the usual qquers about IS/Clan balance happy now?
OR, like I said in my previous posts, it would be far better the quirks balance we have now?
IMO, we were in a good spot, and it was far better not to qq too much for having this.
