Quick update!

The Max Engine Rating for the MAD-BH2 Bounty Hunter Hero 'Mech has been increased from 275 to 300.
The 'Mech Specs section of the Marauder page has been updated with this info.

Maybe I missed something, but why are the clan reinforcements listed under IS packages?

Can... Can IS pilots finally salvage clan tech?

Hey Alex,

Thanks for the update. But I do want to say as per the other thread going on in GD that the reason for this is a much larger issue with how the weighting of the game does not incentive's the use of lower engine sizes due to the sheer amount of mechanics that punish mechs with lower rated engines equipped.

This mech just brought out the issues that are inheret to how things like Acel, decel, and Twist speed are directly tied to the engine.

This change is great, but the bigger win is to hopefully long run better help out mechs that will be under similar restrictions by hopefully de-coupling some of the traits currently attached to the engine size.

Eh? Marauder is an IS design.

The entire reason a Timberwolf got its code name was because durring the initial invasion, the Targeting computers that saw the Timberwolves would rapidly cycle between trying to decide if the mech was a Marauder (MAD-3R) or a Catapult (CAT-C1.)

So the initial code name was created by combining the serial designations of the two IS mechs it resembled.

Marauder is all IS. Although the Clans have a IIC assault variant of the mech.

I'm serious. Announcing the Marauder, of all things, is going to drive me insane.
But crazy as I am already, especially for the Marauder, I'll do anything to buy this thing! :D

I'd just need the Wasp and I'd have every 'Mech from that old SNES game! *throws confetti into the air*

I think its looking too wide.
Marauder without a small frontal profile aint a marauder.

Made some cockpit changes. in MS paint so don't expect much. Maybe the Textures just need to be a bit rougher for a IS Mech. Since they are SLDF era Mechs maybe they can be smoother?

Caved, the Bounty hunter took downgraded the engine to fit more weapons, if you change the engine you should lose the Hero bonus.

I think it's fine that they raised the engine limit. You of course lose firepower mounting a larger engine.

actually its a star league era mech. But in MWO will of course be IS side.
