This +1. Also got refund for Origins, giving up the early adopter awards. I've got plenty of funds, just no more for this since seeing what was in the PTS server.

I think the point Dawnstealer is making is that it is a lot for a developer to ask for when releasing minimal content as compared to other developers.

Special geometry would be welcome, but after some of the choices in Phoenix and Resistance (luggage racks) I'd really like it to be optional.

I'd also like an 'Every 'mech a Hero' option, where all purchased 'mechs come with C-Bill bonuses.

Was gonna buy it. But. In no rush. Was gonna buy the origins. But didn't rush to get it either. Conversion rate for the AUD is down. So. Not really gonna fork too much monies on any more mechs till I really feel the need. Gonna cost over 100bucks for the origins pack and nearly 80 bucks for the marauder pack. If the dollar was closer like last year where I busted insane amount of cash of several packs than maybe. Guess I'll see what spare cash I have closer to December.

It's a walking death trap for OTHER mechs. might be stuck at 60, but consider this. it's got JJs, it'll probably have an awesome torso twist, and you can mount Six Medium Pulse, an AC/20, and a medium in the head. and probably STILL be very heat efficient. plus it comes standard with DHS.

A Boar's Head with that loadout runs a little hot - why do you think a mech 25 tons lighter would be more heat efficient?

I caved and bought the $20 package and the $15 hero. As others have said its the fracking Marauder.

Now the iconic central mounted gun. I know Catalyst and PGI are giving Harmony may the burn in heeeelllll Gold the finger.

By moving the gun over they can honestly say hey its NOT the same. Look the big gun is not on the dorsal. And if it leads to this game getting balanced and the addition of the War Hammer and other iconic mechs then I can live with the offset gun.

Well, you are getting 4 mechs instead of 3 when you get the $40 collector's edition, then 5 if you add the hero.

Edit: Although it's $15 for the hero add-on, I wouldn't mind with all of the extras in the pack

and honestly, if any of you guys whining about the center mounted gun had bothered to look on the wiki, or ANY TROs, that gun's always been RT mounted. Hell, look at the Mangonel Wolf-in-Exile Mech, there's a pair of Light Gauss (or Clan Gauss) Rifles mounted what looks Center line, but they're STILL mounted on a side torso. Even if we had Compact Gyros or Small Cockpits, you're still not going to fit that much of stuff (i'd say 4 slots in CT and 2 in head at most).

Mounting it side torso gives us some nice tactical flexibility. already thinking of a Dual LBX build for one of them,

I noticed that too. That would be disappointing. Also, why is there a duplicate chassis between collections? There are so many variants, that they could have added a different one instead of repacking the 3R with an (S) designation.
