Thats why his post is still even there. thats why everyone elses posts are still here. I'm thinking of whether the video is allowed or not, to edit the post to just a link to his channel and whatnot.

No I mean like the Stalinism aspect of these forums. A special snowflake doesn't like a post, report it, and it never existed to begin with!

18 minute video about why you got banned is entirely too long and the toxicity of the player is evident in how many times people are called scrubs.

This isn't a hard luck story, this isn't a sad turn of events or anything remotely unjustified.

You could have summed up the entire banning with 2 minutes on how outstandingly atrocious your behavior was.

I've been banned from a forum before, I was 14 or so and angsty as hell. I said some things I shouldn't have and got on the nerves of the owner of the site. I didn't like how things ended so I endeavored to do unto others as I would have them do unto me.

This threads resurrection and subsequent musing about the situation is entirely unnecessary.

You don't need to go on for 18 minutes about how people are scrubs and out to get you and shift blame on a macro for your last team kill. If you hadn't of done it 1000 times before it wouldn't have been an issue...how can you not see that?

People knowing you were banned before you knew you were banned? So there is some mass conspiracy against you?

The bottom line is, don't be a **** and people wont consider banning you.

I'd just lock the topic at this point and drop it in K-town.

Especially that last video. I think I'd lose IQ points listening to it for more than 30 seconds, and it's for the birds anyway.

Membership in this community is not mandatory. Your rights are not being repressed. You choose to be here, you accept their rules.

Obviously the forums should have rules. If I started shouting racial slurs, that should be dealt with like the OP in this thread. But if people can get posts deleted simply because they don't like them, then we've gone a bit too far.

Well, it killed a few less brain cells than rageaholics, but only because the vocabulary was a bit more articulate. The content.... Well, yeah.

Definitely, I think you remember a certain FRR player who tried advocating Cyber bullying. But posts don't just get deleted because people don't like them, at least so far what I've seen hasn't been that way.

Well that's just the thing. Not only can I not show examples because they've been deleted, but if I start talking about deleted stuff that violates the CoC.

If something/someone gets deleted/banned, we all just have to whistle and pretend it never happened. Stalinism.

Now I'm not taking a dig at Derek (which I'm sure he knows), but it does seem to get a bit ridiculous at times.

To make a new account? yes, he's entitled to so. But to work around a ban that prevents him from posting any new content because he was banned? No, I think not.

I've never encountered a situation such as this, so I may be overzealous. Maybe. and we shouldn't be discussing the ban either as it's against CoC. I'll go ask Tina, or GM or Alex to Clarify. In short, I'm saying he can have his account, but not to post here. Get what I'm saying? No hard feelings Kristian, I'm just trying to be fair to everyone, because if someone gets something others can't, it's in a way favoritism.

What does posting content have do with it? He was not banned for posting content he was banned for being a Jerk in game far to often. I mean if it is ok for someone to make a new account to play after being busted for cheating, how is not ok for someone to make a new account when they were simply being a jerk in game. I am not saying is favoritism, I am simply saying that just sounds wierd/off to me.

As a person, who has a terrible habit of talking sh*t and getting hit, hearing about people being perma-banned for that, makes me a bit nervous.
I've always been more of a proponent of perma-banning cheaters, but temporary bans for toxicity (at least initially).
You know? In hopes that the person learns his lesson and if not, the bans can get longer for repeat offenses.

Maybe i'm just projecting, but it kind of irks me the wrong way. What's to stop some unit just ganging up on someone and mass reporting the person to get the person banned? How does PGI determine whether TK was accidental or intentional, if it's a bannable offense?
I don't know...
OP did seem like an ********, though.

Ban was for a long colorful history of TK and Team Dmg, with tons of warnings.

Acerbic demeanor just ensured insta-reporting.

Huh. First time in a long time I saw a pink post. Neat!

I understand the OP's frustration with self-serving, passive, easily butt-hurt players. However, no amount of that makes it OK to try and force them to play a certain way, nor to team damage intentionally (let alone team kill). Further, studies done by the Riot staff, from LoL of all places, found that as soon as teammates start attacking one another in chat, the odds of success drop dramatically. This means that by being a flaming ******* either in chat or in VoiP to your own team in an effort to try and motivate your teammates, you are more likely to further the downward situation instead of improve it.
